Flexible, the cord is detachable, ear pieces can be slightly turned to the left or right.
Haven’t used many headphones like this before so can’t compare and tell in detail but this is worth the money I paid.The earpiece turns slight to the left or right which makes it flexible. Forced turning would have damaged the headphones but since this has been designed with a turning ability it is better.The right side earpiece can be fully turned inside out if you do not want any to hear through the right side. So the logo will be on the ear side (inside ) and the speaker outside.The coiled wire becomes a bit heavy and the weight is felt while wearing the headphones, but it isn’t too much.
