It's inexpensive fishing line and it works great for putting up Halloween and soon Christmas decorations up. It is strong and you can hang a lot of things from it. It's not affected by being outside and is strong now as it was a month ago when I first used it.

Very nice fishing line and we bought it not for fishing. So I am not sure how it hold weight. We used it for several projects like making a balloon arch, sewing hair net for a ice show, stabilizing hair accessories for a dance performance, etc.

So worth the money!! I have created suncathers with this line & have no fears of it breaking under the weight! I couldn't break it with my hands, by stretching it or by scissors.... I had to use my wire nippers!!

Worked great for me! I use it for hanging craft things from the ceiling like glass prisms and items outdoors too.

Strong thick line

The spool of the fishing line looked good from the beginning, but after about 40 feet of line, there were broken sections of about 10 feet. At that point, it was difficult to find the beginning and a lot of line got tangled up. I'm into about 100 feet now and it is beginning to look OK. For a while there, I worried that the rest of the spool would be cut into 10' sections.

I use the fishing line to hang plants that weigh about 5-7 pounds each. I don't know what the tensile strength is, but I am impressed with this product . And I highly recommend it for moderately heavy items

Used this to help me with a balloon arch and it was great! The knots I tied held up, the line strength is perfect, and you can't see it in the balloon arch! It's tangle resistant which also helped while building the arch!

Very thin and Not strong to cut.
