HunterCrestfield Indoor Low Profile Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Pull Chain Control, 42", Noble Bronze

Replaced a standard ceiling light in a guest bedroom. This fan looks great in the room, bronze matches the decor. The lights are very bright (7w LED bulbs included) compared to a filtered glass look. The fan is dead quiet - you can only hear air movement, which is why I stick to Hunter (have 3 in total). The installation is a breeze, if your electrical box is already fan rated - adding support is the hard part and I had to add supports from the attic. To make this purchase perfect, it would have been nice to have a simple remote included.Note: You cannot run this off a dimmer switch - the fan will hum and the LED lighting will probably not work properly during fan operation. This is not a defect in the fan. If you have a dimmer switch, replace with an on/off type switch.

I needed to add a ceiling fan to my bedroom and knew that the Hunter brand of ceiling fan was made of quality and reliability, thus I purchased the product.The installation was more difficult than I had expected, as I was a former electrician for 16+ years, but after several hours of struggling to install the fan, I finally completed the job.I noticed several things about the ceiling fan, the quality and workmanship that went into the making of the fan was evident at first glance and feel of the unit. And once turned on, the unit is so quite I can scarcely notice the fan if on other than noting the ever so slight breeze from the fan as it is currently in the "downdraft" mode. The air in the bedroom is no longer hot and stifled but is moving ever so quietly with the fan running.This is a great product and one I would highly recommend.

Size is perfect for my room. Fan looks great, it’s very quite and gives a nice breeze. The only comment apart from the fan itself is that the dimmer switch we need is sold out so haven’t been able to try dimming option and can only use chains for fan. Will either wait for switches to be in stock or buy remote separately. Both are fairly expensive. $60-$80 on top of the fan cost.

It’s quite & looks nice, the lights are a wee bit bright tho, hopefully changing the bulb will dim the brightness. But over all I’m happy with it, it’s in guest room can’t wait to see wht it really looks like when room is finished

I’ve installed up a number of ceiling fans over the years and this one was by far the easiest. It’s well thought out and designed and look great. We’re very happy with the quality, style and quiet operation. Highly recommended.
