This ribbon is exactly what I was looking for. Matched my accessories great. I do wish it was heavier weight and wider. It worked. First time using ribbon on my tree. I only ordered the one roll. If I don’t find wider I’m sure I will reorder. Much cheaper then the matching ribbon on my tree shirt and stockings.

I was very excited to find the Royal Stewart tartan wired ribbon. I have already wrapped my Xmas Gifts for 2019. All I have to do is straighten the bows prior to our "Celtic" Christmas party because of the wire feature in this ribbon. Brilliant Colours to add to the festivities to make it a great occassion.

Item arrived right on time, and is exactly as described. The scale of the tartan is perfect, colour is a nice mix of traditional Christmas red and green, width is exactly 2.5 inches, and the wire edge is gold. The ribbon fabric is a tad thinner than expensive craft store quality, but I didn't pay expensive craft store prices. The wire edge is also not as thick or stiff, but that works to your advantage - it is much easier to shape the bows. I pulled on the edges a fair bit, shaping and straightening the bows and the the wire edge did not separate from the ribbon. I would purchase from this supplier again, and certainly recommend the product.

This is the first time I have purchased this quality of ribbon, and I must say I have been very impressed. In the past I have purchased inexpensive wired ribbon for my Christmas wreathes from big box stores for cheap, and if the ribbon survived one set of holidays I was happy. Yard for yard, this ribbon is no more expensive than what I had bought in the past, but I will get many seasons of use out of this before it wears out. This 50' roll gave me enough ribbon for 14 wreaths. I was a little stingy on several so that I'd have enough for all of them. I will be coming back for more ribbon in other flavors for other seasons!
