How easy to buy my toners and hair colors from Amazon!! Why didn’t I think of this sooner? I try to keep a bottle on hand when that awful brassy sneaks up on me. I am a blonde but I despise that orange brassiness, YUCK!! Just a few minutes with this & 10 or 20 volume developer & the brass rinses away to reveal a cool, beautiful blonde that is every blonde’s dream. Nobody wants the orange look, it’s unfortunate that everybody does not know about using toners to save the day!

My review of the Wella T28 Toner. First off, it smells so bad. Like burn the hair out of your nose and bring a tear to your eye kind of bad. I definitely wouldn’t use this around babies or pets. I bleached my hair to around a level 7 to 8. It was yellow gold and didn’t have any orange left. After using the T28 toner, it added a lot of browns and copper to my hair, making it look closer to ginger than I expected since that wasn’t what I was going for. I was trying to tone down some of the yellow and make it more of a soft beige like the image on the box. Once it fades, I plan on trying a different color with more ash tones instead. I didn’t notice any drying or damage to my hair after use, and my hair still feels very soft. I would use this brand of toner again, just not this particular shade.

When I bleached my hair, my ends became more porous and warmer than the roots and mid-strands. I tried applying T14 but unfortunately it was too ashy and didn't take to my ends. A week later, I tried the T28 Natural blonde and it evened out my hair so well. I am very happy with my results.

I have naturally medium blonde hair. It is thick and medium length hair. Never dyed before the last few months, never used heat, nothing except normal hair styling oils, hair ties, etc. A few months back, I took a leap and had my hair dyed for the first time. Black, and I loved it. After a few months passed, I loved the black hair, but I preferred my natural blonde color. I bleached my hair a couple weeks ago with 2 Manic Panic 30 vol Flash Lightning packs. I was left with white roots, yellow ends, and VERY orange length all over my head from top to bottom. I didn't apply correctly, and paid for it. After considering Wella toners and reading reviews for weeks, I made the decision to just go for it. I wanted the orange brassy hair gone, and my natural blonde back. My hair was still soft and healthy but not the color I wanted. I took the plunge and bought 2 Wella T28 Toners, and a 16oz bottle of 10 Vol developer. I used 8oz of the 16oz developer on my hair, focusing most on the brassy orange areas, as the white would be fine after toner, and the yellow ends weren't terribly unbearable to me. Let it sit in plastic wrap for about 30 minutes. Prepped the last 8oz of developer and mixed it with the 2 Wella T28 Toners. After 30 minutes or so passed, I applied the toner and developer mixture to my hair, again focusing the most on the brassy areas, but I still applied it on each part of my hair. Toner works quickly, so I checked it every 5 minutes. I ended up leaving it in for about 20-25 min. Washed my hair gently, conditioned, and let it air dry. I swear it was unbelievable. The natural blonde hair I'd been born with was back. Completely even color, my hair was soft and not tangled or brittle, seemingly undamaged (albeit bleached before). Whatever Wella uses in their products, I didn't think it would work. I saw all these reviews and didn't think I would have the same results. I was taken off guard and given beautiful and perfect results. So thankful for this toner. I have pictures up, in order from when it was dyed black, bleached and brassy, to the final product thanks to Wella toner. Hope this helps someone. Worth every damn penny.
