It does the job of protecting your LCD controller board, but I have to knock 2 stars off because:-There are no directions included. Maybe this isn’t your first case and you know what you’re doing, but I felt like a complete idiot until I finally figured out the order of things. If you get stuck, the order is silver screw, plate, gold tube, controller board, gold screw, plate, silver screw.-The case is in fact clear as shown in the pictures (I read a previous review stating it wasn’t), but it comes in a brown wrapper you have to peel off and it is incredibly hard to catch/get going with your nails. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but because there are 6 individual pieces, you are peeling off 12 sides and they do not come off as one big sticker. For such a small piece of equipment, it became a hassle real quickly.Again, it does the job and fits my board just fine, but I would only buy this again if it was on sale. Currently it’s around the same price as other cases on Amazon so I don’t see any real advantage to buying this one.

...after all the hassle with assembly (which wasn't pleasant at all) and installing it, I was left asking myself: why? Why even bother?If this is going to be exposed or seen, then by all means - it might be worth it.However I used this inside of an Arcade1up that I modded and I regret it as it really wasn't worth the hassle.Not to mention the skinny piece easily broke on mine, same as another review mentions.

Really tied the whole project together. Perfect cut and size and looks great. Highly recommended.

I was peeling off the brown sticky paper that comes on the acrylic and as I was pulling it off of this part, it snapped off... I'm suspicious that it was already broken beneath the sticky paper when I received it, but it is highly disappointing for it being that fragile. Now, I have a broken product that I have to figure out what I'm going to do with... highly disappointed...
