Great product to improve your work efficiency
I think this is a clever, well-thought-out and useful little product. Sure, it might not be something that everyone is going to wear 24/7, but it definitely has it's uses. I work at a desk on computer, and am often on the phone too. I am a huge fan of jotting down notes or making quick calculations with a pen and paper and do so frequently (100+ notes a day - on reused paper scraps, if anyone is worried). This device is actually useful for this and saves me a decent amount of time. This product is cheap enough that the times saving in taking notes alone will offset its cost in just a couple days.I have tried using this product to hold just about every reasonably-sized item I could think of (just for fun), and it handled everything fine. It seems they though of everything where coming up with this product. It can hold items up to just under 1" in diameter and both round and irregular shaped objects when the correct attachment is used. The only thing it is not best for is holding heavy items, like a very heavy, solid metal pen - but you probably wouldn't want something that heavy attached to your finger all the time anyways. For 99% of pens and other writing utensils, this works great.I would imagine this could be very useful if you were an artist. Or if you were a teacher and correcting essays or tests and wanted to be able to switch between a couple different pens/markers (black pen, red pen, highlighter, etc.). I'm sure most people will be able to find a way this helps them with some task in their lives.Overall I think this is a comfortable, lightweight, useful little product that is definitely worth the relatively low price.

Not 100% sure
May 25, 2016I'm still not 100% sure about this product. It's an elastic strap that's 11/16th of an inch wide that closes with Velcro around your index finger, or any finger! Even if you're wearing gloves! Attached to that strap is a little piece of plastic with a socket into which you can fit the ball end of seven other little pieces of plastic, the other ends of which are supposed to hold things such as pens and little cans of Mace and little flashlights. The idea with the pen, for example, is that you attach your favorite biro to your index finger using this device and you swing it around when you want to write something. When you're finished writing you can swing the pen out of the way so it rests on the volar aspect of the finger, supposedly allowing you go about whatever you were going to do next. You can do the same with a pencil, and you can even use the eraser end.The benefit is that you don't have to pick up that writing utensil and set it back down later; it's always attached to your finger. No kidding.*I'm not 100% sure whether this is a joke. If it is it is kind of funny, especially if you imagine people actually using it, especially out in public. Imagine sitting around the boardroom wearing this with a pen in it -- even a really nice, gold-finished, super-duper type of pen. Your fellow board members would eventually notice that you're wearing this contraption on your finger with a pen in it, and depending on their relationship with you they would watch in silence to see what you do next or they would ask you point blank, "Why is a pen attached to your finger with an elastic band that appears to be about 11/16th of an inch wide?" You would pretty much have no choice but to demonstrate it. You'd swing the pen around and write something and then you'd swing the pen back around on your finger. You would look around the table and you would see nothing but faces with quizzical and concerned looks. If it is not a joke then it's the saddest thing I've ever seen offered for sale. If this is not a joke then, and I'm being serious here, I feel sorry for the people who thought it could be regarded any other way. As a true American I applaud initiative, I admire invention, and I want to support new entrepreneurs. But this product is just too much.*Or little. The largest of the seven oarlock-type holders is half an inch in diameter, which means you're going to need one of those really miniature cans of Mace, the kind you'd use against really little attackers such as five-year-olds.*There's a video that explains how to use the product, and you have to watch it. This attractive and very cheery woman demonstrates many ways one might use the product, with emphasis on pens. At one point, if I'm not conflating different scenes, she's wearing a black winter glove on her right hand while sitting at a desk with a laptop in front of her. She reaches over with her bare left hand and swings the pen on her gloved hand down into writing position, then she writes something (I think it is, "I can't believe I'm doing this. Smile. Smile."), then she uses her bare left hand to swing the pen back onto the top of her index finger. (The reason she isn't wearing two whole gloves at a time, which is how I normally wear mine, is that if she had a matching glove on her left hand she wouldn't be able to swing the pen down for action and back up for storage.)In another scene, if I saw it right, the gloved right hand has one of these attachments on all four fingers. I swear one of the things attached to an attachment is an open compass. In another scene we are shown how the device will hold a key, by slipping it between two layers of elastic. Like anything else attached to the ALLwaysFingeReady, there's a really good chance that in going about your otherwise normal activities you're going to use your hands, and if you do there's a really good chance something you attached to the top of your fingers is going to fall off. The little plastic oarlock holders look to cost a penny apiece. And the ball and socket joint gives way unless whatever you think you need on top of your finger weighs a lot less than my normal desk pen, a Hallmark wood, which weighs a normal amount.*I could go on, but there's no reason. It's so easy to make fun of this product that it's no fun.

works, but might be uncomfortable
It works, but it is uncomfortable. It does hold variety of pens or markers with different attachments, just as advertised. The items stay reasonably still there when placed out of the way. It is not much useful when you sit comfortably at your desk, but might be much more useful on the go when you simply do not have anywhere to place your pen.Although the band is made of soft velcro with loops sticking out, it is still too rough for staying in between the two fingers where the skin is much more sensitive than in other places. There was not case included with my package, only a tiny plastic bag, not even ziplock. The bag was printed with warning that the product is not a toy, for ages 13 and up. They did forget to place a warning not to put the baggie in cribs and not to use it as flotation device, though. There was a link to their website to see the instructions.
