when buying it, please pay attention to your laptop (if using for laptop) it doesn't work on the separate headset jack and mic jack.it works on the laptops with combined jack for the headset and the micor you can buy splitter cable to get it work in case you have separate jacks which i did

Very useful and good sound
I used this mic for over a year now, always with my phone with FilmicPro app, the sound quality is good and cable is long, this became my go to mic for every video.Since it's omni-directional, expect the surroundings to be recorded as well, when needed I have to use a shotgun.Overall this mic is great to use and cheap.

Excellent mic with one caveat
An excellent mic. I used it on my iPhone and Mac and it just works. No need to tweak any setting. The sound details and level is good. Although I noticed one flaw. When it is connected to Mac, the Mac thinks that external Mic and speakers are connected. As a result mac speakers stops working, which is inconvenient if you are recording and listening frequently. You will have to plug out mic to listen.
