EXCELENTES
MUY BUENOS PATINES, MUY RECOMENDABLES. LO UNICO MALO ES QUE LA PIEL ES MUY DURA Y PODRÍAN LASTIMAR DESPUES DE UNA HORA DE USO, PERO TENER CALCETAS GRUESAS AYUDA.

YES they will last longer than 3 months of 'real' rink skating!
Price Note: There is another pair of Chicago skates just like these for ~ $20 less but they DON'T have a leather / suede liner. These are better made and become more comfortable with use as the leather shapes to your foot. Will these skates wear-out or need replacement in three months? NO WAY! Since Jan 2019 as of today July 2019 I have skated over 80 hours in these skates and can now skate backwards on 1 foot for almost the entire rink! I did replace the wheels, toe stops, and bearings.Remember the biggest factor in your skating ability is YOU not the skates. Don't take my word for it go to youtube and watch this amazing skater switch from his ~ $400 skates to rental skates. He can still do all the same tricks and it will blow your mind to see him do it in beat-up rentals!"I tried rental skates again after 3 YEARS!" - By Skate144, Published on Feb 16, 2017So get out and SKATE they upgrade when you understand what type of skating you like and you know what you really need and even if you spend $200 - $600+ it is worth it IF you skate every week AND support your local rink IF you are lucky enough to have one. I spend $10 every week at my local rink Skateworld in San Diego and it is worth every penny. Now for the review of the Chicago skates...OUTDOOR skating: They come with soft but durable standard 78 hardness (durometer scale) polyurethane wheels. The wheels / bearings are slow which is good for learning and beginner skaters. What should you modify?1. Wheel nuts - loosen them so there is a very slight bit of side to side play. Don't do this until you are confident and ready for more speed. Slow wheels are easier to learn on but you will get more tired as you don't glide as far.2. Trucks - may be too loose or too tight this controls how much the skate will "steer" think of the front wheels on a car. In the beginning you want them firm as you improve you gradually loosen them so the skates turn / steer easier.3. Toe stop - low quality use it until it breaks the way mine did and replace it. I got the Sure grip brand for around $15?4. Bearings: Don't replace them until you skate for at least a few months then save them for outdoor skating. I applied a few drops of paint thinner (you could easily get or already have nail polish remover which is acetone) for this purpose then apply a few drops of WD-40 which is over 60% solvent which will thin the grease. Result? HUGE increase in speed and the wheel will spin freely for about 20 seconds! When you are ready to upgrade "Bones Roller Bones Bearings" BLACK for $20 for 16 bearings (enough for both pairs of skates) OR Bonz REDS or REDZ? $40 (2x the price but they are faster).5. Recommend but not necessary leather"Toe protectors" Good indoors and outdoors and only costs $15.INDOOR Rink Skating (wood floor):1. All the same steps as above BUT you MUST replace the wheels with a harder composite I choose "RollerBones Team Logo 98A Recreational Roller Skate Wheels (Set of 8), White, 57mm" which have a hardness of (Durometer 98). Any brand will do but you want 57mm & 90+ Durometer hardness. Also, don't use skateboard wheels. I tried 101A hardness and 52mm but on skateboard wheels the hub is thicker and the wheel nut will stick out and can cause you to crash. I came from rollerblades and NEVER changed my wheels (rotate and clean but never changed) I though the same would apply to roller skates but when you skate on wood the 78 hardness wheels are WAY OVER GRIPPED and it hurt my knees because of the resistance and if you are slightly off in you foot placement it will send you crashing to the floor. However, this adds around $40 to the price of the skates which is why I recommend for INDOOR skaters you at least consider "Riedell Skates - Angel Junior - Artistic Quad Roller Skate" $135 as these skates $65 + $40 (wheels) = $105. Now the Riedell have a plastic plate but **IF** you crack or wear it out you will know what type of skate/ brand/ wheels/ etc you really need and these skates can be retired to outdoor or you keep them in your trunk etc.Fit & First Skate: Jan 2019I wear size 10 and found the skates were just right with room for thick skate socks. The leather liner felt good and even with 1.5 hrs of skating my feet felt fine - not bad for breaking in a new skate. The boot is very soft so you need to lace tight for support. Some high quality skates have a soft suede boot and some have a rock-hard ice skate style boot. Either works it depends on you need for ankle support and skate style.See the photos of my current setup. Note I only use these skates indoors at the rink and I have a cheap pair (last picture of Chicago Derby (Jam) skates that I use outdoors. Total skating is over 50 hours as of the date of this picture.

Buenos patines
