There is some good information in this book
There is some good information in this book. There is also some that really didn't fit our issues. All in all, worth the money for insight into what moves a kid to be untruthful.

daughter
My daughter was having trouble with her 10 year old lying so I sent her this book. She said it helped.

Five Stars
I encourage any parent to read this; thin and fast read. Practical.

Good Stuff-If You are willing to dig
I have the utmost respect for Ekman and his ground breaking work with facial expression/non-verbal communication. With that being said, this book was a bit disappointing. Is the content there? Yes, it's in there; but you will have to dig through a great deal of fairly dry stuff to get to it. Worth it? I would say so. I did learn something from this book, and what I learned has been useful. Just not sure everyone will hang with it long enough to mine the gold that's inside.

Too many stats..not enough suggestions
I was looking for a book to help an adopted 4 year old boy not lie. This book was filled with stats, but not really real world tactics I could use now. I would much more recommend 'The Connected Child' by Karen Purvis and Parenting with Grace by Popcak.

Really like this book
Really like this book. Was inspired to buy it because of the lie to me program. Found it easy enough to read and was both informed and entertained.

Rubbish.
This book was rubbish and boring, the content does not justify the title. Don't waste your money. There are other better books out there on the subject.
