It is caffeine free. It only contains spices, lemon balm, and a blend of mushrooms.

What is the grit at end of drink on bottom of cup? Am I not blending it enough?

I blend mine for a couple of minutes and I've never had grit at the bottom. So, you may not be blending it long enough.
