Nice concept but glitches
I purchased two of these to try before purchasing enough to cover all around my house. After testing the first one for several months I have found that overall it is a neat device but mine has stopped recording entirely. The technical support folks for this product are strangely obsessed with the idea that reformatting the SD card is somehow going to fix all sorts of issues. No other device has any kind of excessive sensitivity to the SD card. Of course I thoroughly formatted the card , scanned and marked bad blocks etc. Still it just appears to be recording but the recording never shows up anymore in the app. Also there is NO WAY to get the correct camera time and date onto the recordings (from back before it stopped recording). All of the recordings have seemingly random times and dates, and there is no option in the app to set the time and date to be used in the time stamp of the recordings. Video quality is very basic but sufficient unless you need high detail. Also, the PIR heat sensor is much less likely to detect motion on a hot day where a 98 degree person is walking in front of the sensor on a 98 degree background on a hot summer afternoon. At first I thought the sensor was broken until I figured out that it sensed me much better when the temperature had gotten cooler in the evenings. So right now it still acts like it is working but does not record. I'm a bit tired of messing with the SD card as if that is going to fix it. Also it needs a way to turn off the light remotely after it has been activated by motion without waiting for a timeout. The Wifi setup in the app shows I have only 1 bar of signal when the camera is about ten feet away from a state of the art 6-antenna MIMO access point that maxes out my cable ISP at 60MBs throughput from my iPad at the same distance, so the WiFi strength measurement in the camera or app is really wrong since I have huge throughput and no issues streaming multiple HD signals simultaneously. The tracking feature on this really is neat but the app and the management of recording really need some improvements. If I can't get the camera to start recording again I'm going to try for a warranty return or replacement. It should also have the option of a high gain antenna. Last point I will mention is that behind the LED light support there are structural ridges. These hold water after a rain which means they just gunk up over time with pollen, bugs, etc. That's just a silly design flaw that those do not drain. I really really really wanted this device to work well but it and the app have some maturing to do.Update: I have this camera recording again, and a couple of good examples of how this would be a great device with just a few improvements. So after reformatting the card and no luck, and pressing the reset button and no luck, and doing the factory reset and no luck, I was left with the mode light flashing red and the status light flashing red and the app unable to connect to the camera wifi. I ended up having to kill the power after all those other steps (note that the camera is hard-wired and has no OFF switch or way to reboot from the app). After it finally came back up it was working again. So first lesson is to always have this device on a switched power connection because without that I would have been stuck without killing power to the entire circuit affecting other devices. After mowing the lawn in the afternoon I saw that this device has made hundreds of recordings of me going back and forth, all with the wrong date still (all files being dated in April when it is currently November and no way to change this setting) which was some improvement except for the app not only can't reboot the camera but has no way to mass delete recordings without climbing with a ladder to pull the SD card and delete from a computer. The app only allows deletion of a video file one at a time and after every deletion it returns to the main screen such that it takes forever to navigate to each of hundreds of files to delete the unless you break out the ladder. Upshot is that the app should be able to do anything that can be done manually to this camera so that once it is mounted out of reach it never has to be touched again with normal operation. Just another example of where this would be a great product with just a little more thought put into how it would actually be used.

Great concept but falls short on execution.
This is the second unit I tried. Originally received white version that had a defective zone sensor. This one is the same model just different color. My opinion of this product is unchanged however I rated it lower because all of the sensors work but the performance is the same. Here are the things I consider cons for a $300 wireless camera considering the features you are paying more for over a standard wireless camera do not perform well and the missing features you should have on a panning unit.CONS..1. Pan speed slow. After camera picks up motion it takes to long for the head to pan to that zone. Compared to an older, non wifi version of this camera from the same company, it is extremely slow. Older version can pan from left zone to right zone faster than new version pans from left to center.2. Detection between zones slow. I can walk from one zone to the next and almost out of that zone into the next before the head even begins to pan and in conjunction with the slow pan speed I can make it out of that zone.3. No Web page access. Unless I have missed something, the only way to view the camera is through and app on Apple or Android device. We have 8 Homes on our street and we're going to purchase multiple units so we could all view the cameras to help keep eye on neighborhood but the lack of PC viewing option negates this.4. Lack of ability to select zone to view. There is no way to select which zone you would like to view in live remote view. This makes remote viewing limited to where the camera is pointed at the time you view it. They should have included a feature in the app to manually pan the head between the 3 zones.5. Playback bug ?Camera sometimes activates and records when playing back a recording (this problem seemed to rectify itself after a couple weeks)PROS1. Image quality is pretty good.2. WiFi seems to work goodUPDATE 3/17/2016The company has responded to my reviews, offering assistance. I do like to see that however I am not in R&D. I paid $300 for a device that is not operating correctly. I do not have the time to be troubleshooting. The final straw prior to returning today is that camera stopped recording events with only 10% of the card used. That is something that cannot happen. It makes this camera completely useless.

Good customer service. Does the job I wanted it to do.
I bought two of these units. One for each side of our house. Very easy to install and worked right out of the box with no issues. I did eventually start having problems with one of them by getting an error 19 when trying to see the live camera via wifi. Talked with Steve in customer service (who was unbelievably helpful) and determined that the issue was that I needed a wifi signal booster. When I did that, the issue went away. The only issue I really have is the sensitivity to motion. It is rated at 50 feet (where it picks up an image). It is actually much farther than that. We live in a small neighborhood (where there is very little traffic), when a car goes through the street intersection (which is probably 125 feet away), the camera comes on and takes a picture of the car going through the intersection. It is not a big deal, but it would be nice if the range was adjustable. The feature I like the best is that the light and camera follows the motion of the person within its sight. I would recommend this unit.
