The Least Expensive Awesome Upgrade for Any Pistol
Got one of these for my home defense FNX .45 and loved it so decided to add one to my conceal carry SigP65X. My observations after 6 months of daily carry and range time: PROS -Significantly improves grip -Makes grip more comfortable -Easier to stay on target especially when firing rapid firing -No problems whatsoever using with my inside the belt Cross Breed holster -Very cheap upgrade that is a functional improvement. -Fit my Sig like a glove -Doesnt move or slide around and stays in place -6 months and 1K rounds later it has performed exactly as expected -Grip pattern is solid CONS -I really cant think of any. INSTALL It isn't difficult, just takes a little patience. After about 5 minutes of sliding/pushing/pulling the rubber grip you'll have it on. I've only readjusted it minimally once or twice since receiving. I know this should be blatantly obvious, but please follow the first rule of firearm safety and make absolutely sure you've unloaded before installing. And then check again to be 100% sure. Safety always #1. SUMMARY Houge Beavertail Grips are one of the cheapest upgrades you can do that makes an immediate and real difference. Bottom line: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Follow instructions, installation requires a little elbow grease
Excellent grip, fits my hand way better than stock and it has a nice stickiness that immediately clings to your fingers when drawing. I have a hard time getting the proper index when drawing appendix with this gun (gun is pointed left) and this helps. The rubber texture has better grip than stock, and is also softer against your skin when carrying inside the belt. It takes about 10 seconds of effort to put on if you do it right and follow the instructions. Don't be an idiot: remove your slide from the frame before installing. Heat up the grip in hot water. Cut two "shoehorn" shims into the packaging. Make these longer than the grip, it will make removing them easier. SPRAY THE FRAME AND GRIP WITH ALCOHOL-BASED WINDEX LIKE IT SAYS! If you don't do this, you're going to have a much harder time! The 365 grips have a sandpaper-like texture, with Windex the new grip will slide right on.

Very inexpensive, but provides a huge benefit that far outweighs the cost!
My SIG P365X didn't really point very naturally for me!!!! Coming from mostly Glocks (and a few Colts) over the past 27 years, the grip angle just didn't work naturally for me. I tried a Wilson Combat grip module and although it had a better palm swell that the OEM module, it still didn't help with "pointing". I decided to try the Hogue as it was inexpensive, and I have Hogue grips on a free revolvers. The install, although not super easy (lots of lube, plastic shims, and lots of tugging here and there and here and there, and repeat) was doable over probably a 5 to 10 minutes after heating the grip up in some very hot water. Results? The grip module now fits my hand as if it was molded perfectly to my hand & fingers! I'm typically not a fan of finger grooves (as they don't typically really fit me right), but this gun is now locked in place in my grip, unlike anything else I've played with over the last few decades. And, although it's really not designed to change the grip angle of the gun, I find the SIG now points very naturally for me. A big win-win! I've had it on the module for well over half a year now and it's still locked in place on the module with no movement, stretching or loosening.

Great addition to EDC
Feels great, good grip with wet and dry hands. Haven't noticed any deterioration. Doesn't move slip or slide. Difficult to install but probably should be to fit so snug.

Fills out grip nicely.
Pros: Adds volume to the grip Enhances traction on the grip Easy to install (if you follow the instruction, seriously, follow the instructions) Firmly adheres to the stock grip Cons: Protruding finger groove (like any grip that has finger molds built in, unless your finger matches the design finger size, you are going to have a bad time). My finger is significantly wider than it is designed for, thus my finger is uncomfortably wedged against the trigger guard and the protrusion. I will have to do some shaving down of the material myself, but I wish manufacturers omitted such glaringly bad designs.

It's quality, who cares that its hard to install?
Who cares that it's hard to install? Yes, it was a toght install, but you end up with a tight product. Do you want easy to install and loose fitting, or harder to install but fits like a glove? What you end up with is an awesome grip that never needs to come back off (and I hope to the dear lord that I never do have to get it off, lol.). Make it possible for these companies to win man, some of you people are impossible to please.

perfect size. excellent quality
high quality. perfect fit.I do not have large hands and was worried about grip size after reviews. It actually is excellent for small/normal size hands.my fingers are not slender, due too outside work,so found no problem with gripping too tightly or loosely. With the sig 365xl, I found the manufacturer's grip smaller than my ruger and was over tight on my hold, which made me shoot slightly down and left. Dry shooting really display that to me.Good value for this. Putting it on the grip-could not use the recommended cell strips to help slide. Useed windex and a hair dryer. Wife held on low heat, after using high heat to soften. Drip the windex into grip as it begins to slide. Once you get past the flared mag end, it will get easier.keep windexing inside of new grip and push-try not to pull,as it could tear.keep low heat on it. Difficult, but so much easier when I finally used the windex and kept the heat on it for flex. DO NOT pull down by grasping , just push and windex and heat.
