Darice Tissue Box Cover, 6-Inch, Natural

I liked this product and went to buy more. The price had gone up. Not a big deal, but in just a few days, it keeps going up. It's now almost $2.00 more. This seller got greedy and lost my business. I planned a good size order too. Not worth it.

Did not realize from the product description this was totally unfinished and is just raw wood.It is also too large and slightly taller to accommodate a standard Kleenex or other brand in the smaller square packaging. the box we tried wiggled around and is also shorter than this box is. I thought it would fit boxes snuggly, but, that is not the case!The opening on the box for tissue on mine was quite rough and will need some sandpaper to smooth it down.....I will probably stain and polyurethane it or apply a good spray of primer and enamel, ...otherwise the wood would stain and look bad over time as the wood is a soft type, very light in color, and will soil over time just from being handled.

I have purchased a few of these now to paint as gifts and everyone loves them!

I was looking for a natural wood tissue holder (should've went with bamboo). This is made from craft wood and is like something you would make in woodshop class in middle school back in the day. It's probably perfect if you intend to decorate it or make gifts for people, but not good if you're looking for long lasting home decor. You can basically cut the wood with one of those folding box cutters.

Not really size appropriately for an American square tissue box... a little big. But very nice otherwise.

I bought this so I didn’t have to have ugly Costco tissue boxes sitting out in my living room. It’s perfect.

It is what it is. Luckily I can tell the difference between a faulty product and people who just aren’t using it correctly. This isn’t supposed to have a bottom; most tissue holders don’t. It’s meant to be painted or stained or somehow finished by you. Yes it’s thin, it’s also $6. I ended up painting a geometric pattern on mine. The only thing I’d suggest is sanding it first, because I didn’t and it’s a little bumpy. Otherwise, gets the job done!

This tissue box cover is made of a lightweight wood with a beautiful grain. The pieces are glued together with an excellent glue, and all edges are perfectly aligned. All cuts and openings are smooth, but can be sanded if you choose. Some surfaces may have rough areas that need to be sanded. I'm very pleased with the one I received. Please see photos. I used acrylic paint to cover the outside of the box, and allowed some of the underlying wood grain to be visible because I like the look.

I paid $15CAD for this little wooden box, which is already a total ripoff. They've since raised the price to $22, which is absolutely ridiculous. It's worth maybe $10 maximum. More like $5.First of all, this thing hasn't even been sanded, the surface is rough, the edges of the hole on top look jagged. Secondly, mine has a pretty noticeable dent in one of the top edges. Thirdly, it's super light-weight, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a tissue box cover to hold down those little boxes that want to come up with the tissue. On top of that, it's Made in China, so there's absolutely no justification for the cost.Save yourself a ton of money and get one from Michaels for a fraction of the cost and that's probably better quality.

I am SUPER disappointed with this product. There is no bottom do I guess it’s meant to go overtop the tissue box. It made a very thin/cheap wood. I cannot believe it’s priced at $22. Total rip off.
