Cheap and not Genuine, mic button erratic theses are most likely counterfeit Knockoffs
I ordered 2 speaker mic at the same time and the seller was not even smart enough to send me two identical knockoffs ! I got two different products in the same order. One of them is not even like the pictures (Its the one that works the better). One of them was physically similar to the listing but on this one, the microphone push button does not work properly.

Make sure they fit your radio!
Although this was advertised as compatible with the Baofeng UV-5R, the plug doesn't always seat properly. It frequently disconnects the speaker function so I can't hear what others are sending. I bought two (one for each of my radios), and will be returning one for replacement. Great concept ... questionable execution.

Mala calidad de audio
Me decepciono la calidad del audio de este micrófono, se oye muy mal el audio es decir la voz, muy chillona y equivalente a una bocina de muy baja calidad, los materiales plásticos también son de baja calidad, no se de durabilidad pues no creo usarlo por la mala calidad de audio el cual no me satisface, creo es de juguete o al menos asi parece su sonido, por lo menos el cable y el conector tienen buena calidad.

It does the job..but..
The Baofeng BF-S112 remote SPK/MIC is overall a decent accessory for the UV5R, 5R+, UV82 and all radios that have a dual 3 pin connector (Like Kenwood, Icom etc.)When I test it to my UV82 radio I found out that the LED was not working.But the mic, speaker and PTT button was working great until I decide to test the bottom ext. headphone jack. Although the jack was working, when I took off my headphones the BF-S112 remote SPK/MIC got silent. I test it on my other radios.. same thing. So I had to check it inside.It was decent inside with a circuit board and all (compering it to other models that they had only the basics, no circuit board) but I realized that there wasn't an extra wire inside the cable for powering the LED.I also metered the pins of the ext. headphone jack and I also realized that a metal inside the female jack was "stack". With a couple of inserting in-out a test jack it finally worked.Now about the led.. well I saw no reason for having it there and I removed it. I modified it a little-bit and.. well see the pictures..
