As an 82 year old senior citizen I sometimes need a little help in doing some of the things which used to be easy... Installed these rails on my truck with no help and in just a short time. They look good, appear to be sturdy and are well-made.

This installed in about 20 minutes. Important to make sure your brackets are positioned correctly when installing. Once I verified direction of brackets, it just mounted up to the mounts under the truck. I had no issues at all. The Nerf steps are fairly light but are very sturdy. They look great on my truck and cant beat the price.

I thought these were steel. They are not. They are way to light to be steel and sounds like some kind of composite or something. The installation instructions are very limited. However it is not difficult to figure out the vague areas of the instructions. I wish that they would mark or indicate that the mounting brackets has an up side on them. I put 3 on before realizing the brackets were all on upside down and the bolt holes will not line up on the step bars.The driver side bar had an anchor inserted in the bar that stripped out before the bolt tightened. Now the washer rattles when driving since it can't be tightened or removed. So far 5 of the 6 bolts seem to be holding it pretty tight. I check the bolts each time I drive the truck. The bolts on the bars seem to loosen a little each time I drive it. That could be because I am scared to over tighten the bolts in the bars and stripping another anchor. I may need to pick up some loctite an apply it to the bolts on the bars.That said they look good on the truck. They are sturdy, for what you get. They just weren't what I thought I was getting.

Very easy to install very sturdy and they look great on my 2022 nissan frontier 4x4 crew short bed.

A Perfect Fit!These steps arrived in excellent shape in a sturdy box with robust packing materials to keep everything protected and flawless. The front and rear ends of the tubes bend inward to the body... They sit close enough to appear deliberately designed for this model, however, far enough to avoid any issues!Functionally, they are very sturdy and positioned ideally for my needs... allowing ample space for a quick step into the truck, yet tucked enough to not interfere if you're used to getting in and out of the truck without them like I am.The fabricated brackets are strong, the quality of the finish is very nice and even includes nice rubber grommet finishers at the ends of the tubes. The step pads feel like either a very high durometer rubber, or a somewhat soft plastic... whichever it is, I have no doubt they'll be durable enough for years of use.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many reviews from previous gen models have indicated needing additional lock nuts in lieu of the supplied hardware to properly secure the front brackets, as it sounds like the studs on the vehicle are too short... I'm happy to report that this was NOT the case with my 2022. The front studs appear as long as the rest, leaving plenty of thread protruding from the back of the nuts (using all supplied hardware).It's an absolutely wonderful quality product with a snug and custom-looking fit, really finishing off the somewhat incomplete look of my new Pro-4X. All the hardware was coated in black to blend in as well - a thoughtful touch... I really couldn't be more satisfied with the look, feel and function. When it comes to a round tube style step rail for the new Frontier, I would happily buy these again in a heartbeat.

As others have noted, the forward two sets of studs are a bit short, so I went to the hardware store and bought lock-nuts. Some reviews say to use 5/16", but for a 2017 Frontier the correct size is 8mm-1.25. Also as other have mentioned, these running boards don't stick out too far from the vehicle (reason for the 4 stars) so for a big footed individual you're only going to get about half your foot on the board, smaller footed people will do alright. Definite improvement to the looks, but time will tell how well it holds up.

They were easy to install about an 1/2 hour. Sturdy and great looking.
