This Is An interesting Excellent Book About The Texas Rangers Baseball Team.
This is an interesting excellent book about the Texas Rangers baseball team. I liked this book because I learned some facts that I did not know before reading this book. I read this book for my personal pleasure and for my personal knowledge. The Texas Rangers have been a great playing team in many seasons in the past. However, when I was in the Oakland Coliseum during the last game of one season, the Texas Rangers lost the last game and the Western Division season leadership to the Oakland A's. Even though after the last game, the Rangers ended up becoming the second place team in the Western Division, they played great during most of the season. Some of the interesting facts that the author of the book mentions in this book includes the following information: The Texas Rangers began in 1961 as the Washington Senators. 11 years later, the team moved to Texas. They have never won a World Series championship. They won the American League West Division seven times since 1972. The Oakland A's hold the record of winning the most games of any team in the American League West Division all time. The real name of former Texas Rangers pitcher Goose Gassage is Richard Michael. Pitcher Nolan Ryan threw seven no-hitters in his MLB career. Nolan Ryan's full legal name is Lynn Nolan Ryan Jr. Nolan Ryan is one of only 29 players in the MLB to pitch in four decades. Nolan Ryan played in the MLB for 27 years. He also pitched for the California Angels too in his MLB career.

The Rangers are my home team!
Maybe it’s that I’m from Texas. Maybe it’s that the Rangers vs the Oakland Raiders are the only games I’ve ever seen. Whatever the reason, I loved the trivia in this book.My favorite part was Famous Quotes. The players are so authentic and even George W has a cameo. I forgot he was the owner of the Rangers. This book was just kind of a nice throwback to happier times for me.

Eleven years later, the team moved to Arlington, Texas, and became the Rangers. They are full of a lot rich history that’s full of name changes abs loyal fans.
