Vanquish PS3

I played it on normal difficulty and had a decent time playing. I was cautious that it would not play on my U.S. bought PS3 since it had the word "Favoritos" in the front, but it plays well. I like the game but I think it deserves a 5 stars for having some epic robot boss fights and the combat is pretty interesting. What's mainly different between this and other shoots is his ability to slide around with his jetpack and slowing down time. The sliding around really speeds up the travel time, even make running around places and around your enemies more interesting than it normally is.

The game might be an import, but it is in English, everything you remember and it is compatible with PS3's released in the U.S., if there's a difference, so you can buy with confidence. And for the price, you can't go wrong. Game on.

I'll get it right out of the way. This is in ENGLISH.As for gameplay, it's not bad. I kept hearing this game is so underrated but I don't feel like it is. The guns feel good and there is a decent amount of them and the enemies aren't to dumb. But they missed a HUGE mark with the power suit. You have a melee attack but it drains your suit in ONE HIT!? Leaving you to run up, hit the enemy, and run like hell until your suit recharges. Plus there isn't any upgrades to the suit to fix it. Other than that, sliding around on your knees at high speed is fun and the acting is just bad enough to be funny. Still not a horrible game. Just not a diamond in the ruff for me.

So much fun!After playing the mind-numbing bore that was Crysis 3, i was a little worried about jumping into another game where the protagonist wears another super suit. But, i'm SO happy i picked this up.Fast paced, frantic, and fun. The game can also be challenging at times but it doesn't feel cheap. I usually feel like i screwed up if i die.

A lot of fun. Minimalist story; not much time spent on cut scenes or background narrative, and for this type of game experience that's a good thing. That much more time to zoom around in your high tech suit and shoot robots. I'll be coming back to this one for another play-through or two no question.
