This is a great cover especially for the price. For context - I've been using it about 4 days now and so far I'm happy with it. It fits my 5th gen air perfectly with no danger of it slipping off. It doesn't hinder any of the buttons or impinge on the camera. The Sleep function works as expected. I've seen other reviews which mention that where the flip part meets the back of the case feels a bit flimsy - I can see their point - but I don't know that it's flimsy, I think it may just be the best way to join the two parts so that the flip folds perfectly flat behind the device so the ipad can lay flat for writing. It certainly doesn't look flimsy! The edges of the case are rubbery to protect against knocks and bumps and the back of the case is a hard 'plastic' - I may have preferred if the back were more like the edges - but only 'cos to me that would feel more protective. It will definitely protect against any scratches on the back. Oh, and case has an opening on the back for the smart connector port - so that's still accessible even with the cover on (where it's usable or not I don't know as I don't have a smart keyboard - the opening has a lip (bevelled 1-2mm) so it's not flush with the back). I love that this has a slot in the cover for my apple pencil - if not I guarantee you, I'd have lost it already! The slot is at the hinge side - meaning the pencil can't charge while in the case (which would have been nice) but I'd still prefer just not to lose it! I had my ipad a week before this case arrived and I just left it safely on my desk - I was afraid I'd drop it or lose the pencil - now I'm able to carry it with me and get more use out of it.

Been using this since I got my iPad about two years ago and it holds up. There is a little bit of discolouration from handling it so much in the corners of the case, but it is not distracting at all. The colour is beautiful and true to the pictures attached. I recently stuck some stickers onto the case, and there have been no problems.

Great case. Protects the iPad well but the quality of the folio isn’t the best but does the job for the price.

The quality is good and it has a nice appearance. The only thing that bothers me is that the pen pocket is to the wrong side. I have an ipad air and the pen has to be to the right side to charge but the pen pocket is on the left. So it can not charge while in my bag

Ich habe die Hülle in hellgrün für’s große Kind & nun für’s jüngere in lila bestellt.Sie passen gut, schützen & sehen gut aus.Sehr schön ist auch, dass der PEN bei geschlossenem Deckel mit eingebettet ist.Meinem jüngeren Sohn hatte ich erst woanders eine ähnlich Hülle gekauft aber da lag der PEN frei beim Transport , was mir gar nicht gefiel.Dem Großen habe die Hülle in grün noch einmal als Ersatz bestellt, da die erste nach nun drei Jahren etwas angeschmuggelt war - er hat sie aber noch nicht getauscht 😉Klare Kaufempfehlung, würde sie immer wieder kaufen👍🏻
