Worst buy ever.
Item showed up with the box all beat up. Half the parts looked used and other parts missing. I'm pretty sure someone installed it in their car then removed it. There was even a item return slip in the box with the parts. The worst part is that I have to wait two weeks for them to pick up the part for return and then wait another week for them to refund my money. So I have no parts for my car and my money is tied up waiting for them to return this clearly messed up part that I would never put in my c5 corvette. This all could have been avoided if they just fixed their error and sent me the proper parts rather than make me wait 3 weeks for no reason.

A good price for an upgraded clutch
I bought this for my 1999 Corvette. The included pilot bearing is too small & slipped right into my crank without any hammering. I would recommend using a different pilot bearing.I cut down the dowel pins installed in the flywheel because I've found that the pins can cause some issues with getting the pressure plate installed.Other than those two things this clutch works great!

Excellent Clutch
Excellent LS7 style clutch. Amazon had a great price and it bolted right on. Just make sure you index the flywheel properly and use thread lock on the flywheel/pressure plate bolts. Also, be sure to properly degrease the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces with brake cleaner (or other solvent) as they appeared to be coated in some sort of anti-varnish film. The clutch has been in the car for about 1000 miles now and is just as smooth as the stock was with absolutely no chatter. Very similar pedal pressure to stock as well, anyone can drive this clutch. Very pleased.

BEST PRICE FOR LS7 clutch kit
STOCK OEM LS7 clutch kit.Best price I could find anywhere online.Installed in 2002 z06. 450whp with drag radials. Hooks amazing. Feels like stock. I have the TICK master cylinder. Feels a little stiff. You’ll get used to it. It’s nothing. Almost stock feeling like I mentioned. GET A SPEED BLEEDER and slave cylinder as well when doing clutch change in a corvette.

Absolutely terrible packaging
This item comes from LuK with completely insufficient packaging. There is zero padding in the box to keep things from moving around, the pressure plate is not attached to the flywheel, so everything is just loose flying around in the box. This results in damage to the clutch disc that just gets banged around between the flywheel and the pressure plate. The flywheel also eats into the side of the box with it's teeth degrading the overall rigidity of the box.This is the second LuK clutch kit that I've gotten that is like this. LuK really needs to fix this.

Luk pilot bearing
Just a heads up, I replaced the clutch in my 2003 Corvette using this LUK clutch kit and installed the new pilot bearing provided in the kit. After about 3000 miles I started getting a vibration at around 2200 rpm when the clutch was released. Took it apart and found the provided pilot bearing had moved back into the crank and was no longer flush with the end of the crankshaft. I could move the bearing with my finger in and out about a half inch and its supposed to be a press fit. Ordered a new GM bearing and found the LUK bearing was about .005 smaller in diameter and appeared to have been spinning in the end of the crank...

5 stars if gets to you undamaged
Awesome price for a LS clutch setup. First one came damaged. They are not packed/supported good enough for the weight of the parts, so if handled at all roughly the clutch disk will get chipped on the edges or bent. HeLLo LuK.... the PaCkaGinG nEEds To bE BEtteR!

Ls7 clutch and flywheel
Great clutch for the price. Ls7 style with flywheel so will fit your ls1 as well. Comes with clutch pressure played bolts but no flywheel bolts
