My favorite sweets from when I was a kid.
I just love these. What can I say. Not excessively sweet. And the reward of the sherbet in the middle. So much flavor. And self limiting. If you eat more than about 3 or 4 at a time, your mouth will pay (they get a little sharp as they dissolve) So they are a perfect. Again, Irish and English sweets for the win.

Yummy
These have wonderful lemon flavor and the little fizz is fun! Only drawback is the Doubling in Price since I bought them two weeks ago.

Tasty but not very "sherbety"
I haven't tried these before, so not sure if this batch is true to the norm, but I expected more of a frothy, sherbety center. Otherwise, they were very tasty!

These are a truly good Sherbet Lemon
These are a truly good Sherbet Lemon. I'm English and these are exactly like the ones I used to enjoy when I lived there. They're so much cheaper than the Honey Duke ones which were so disappointing, and have a burst of sherbet that bursts out when one bites into the sweet or can be sucked out of the end. A good sweet for any who like something a little more tart.

Hard, lemon shell with fizzy sherbet interior
Brilliant English confection which is largely unknown to Americans (not available in stores here). Also the password to Dumbledore's study in Harry Potter I believe. You can also get strawberry sherbets in Britain! The 6-pack supply seems to arrive just before Christmas so I ordered again this year (2016). Very quick delivery, well packed and the product is in perfect condition. You can get sherbet lemons from other manufacturers but these are the originals (I've been eating them for 55 years) and are easily the best.

Poor Quality - No Fizz
If you are looking for fizzy, sherbet, lemon, this is not the product for you. There is none of the usual fizzing at all. Very poor quality.

Nice lemon flavor
I tried these on a tour of Scotland. Good lemon flavor, which I have always loved. The one thing that stands out to me is that they are not overly sweet - lemon is the star, not sugar. Wish American candy makers would learn to use less sugar and more flavor.

Chemical lime flavour, not lemon - avoid!
Absolutely vile. They taste of cheap, lime bathroom cleaner, not even lemon, and have a strong chemical aftertaste. The "sherbet" inside also tasted heavily of chemicals and apparently Amazon says we can't even return them so we're stuck with throwing away the rest of the bags and no refund, so this was a big waste of money. It was supposed to be a treat for my children but they (and I) ended up spitting them out and throwing out the rest of the bags of revolting "sweets".

The Mystery of the Shrinking Lemons
Superb taste but if they get any smaller I'm going to eat them with a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass!
