It's amazing and what an awesome deal
I wish I could have got it at the special introductory price of $19 but they sold out fast but even at full price it's a steal. The knife is great, super sharp right out of the package, seems to hold it's edge well, well balanced, nice and hefty, the perfect budget camping knife for someone who doesn't want to or can't get a more expensive knife. Steel quality isn't the same of course as you'd find in more expensive knives but it's much better than you'd find in other fixed blade knives in this price range. That accessories are great. Ferro rod should have been cemented into the handle, it comes out while striking but that's a simple fix. Also I am curious why there's a windows logo on the handle? The filter straw looks great, I just wish there was some place to store the silicone straw part right on the body of the straw. It says it has a 5 year shelf life, I assume that means after first use because unused carbon filters shouldn't have a shelf life. I will have to email the company and see about that. All in all this set is so awesome, I can't believe the quality of items for little price. It's a must have.

Great value for the money.
Appears to be a high quality Knife and Fire Starter, Wish the Filtration straw had a longer shelf life.Great value for a go type bag to keep in your vehicle.

A great kit! I think I need one for each vehicle.
What can I say? I would buy it for the knife alone but put it all in one package and I'm sold! If packaged correctly in would easily spend $50 or $60 for this kit.The fire starter actually impressed me the most. It is thick, ensuring plenty of use and actually has a handle so you have something to hold onto while striking for sparks. The water straw is straight forward and easy to use. The knife is fully tang and stainless. Easy to sharpen but the knife came sharp right out of the box. Will probably buy an extra kit for each vehicle.

not to bad
ok so for a 20 dollar knife its ok. the blade is thin , very. its got the quality ok a 20 dollar knife. i would never trust my life with it and i knew it was a Chinese turd. id use it to skin critters and when i go fishing. i was just curious what a 20 off grid knife was like, i have a off grid knife that was 20 times more expensive i get why off grid made this knife , for a budget knife everyone could afford. ka-bar made a couple of knives the IFB Trail Point ,also Chinese turds as well so every one could own a ka-bar. so keep the price point in mind when looking for a good bush craft knife. i wouldn't trust the life straw , the ferro rod is ok , it actually works well enough to trust . all in all this was a good purchase due to value . i had a old scout carry sheath that makes the knife look cool. if you have a cub scout at home this would be a good starter knife. i don't condemn or recommend this knife .its up to you .

A little disappointed..
The kit and items are a great value for the money. Usually Off Grid knives are amazing quality, however this time the blade itself came with a noticable warp and twist in the blade, right out of the packaging. The materials, blade shape & style, and scales look great, and world be perfect if there wasn't this noticable warp & twist in the actual blade. I'm guessing it happened in the quench/heat treat as it is a blade that's a little on the thin side. Had it not been for that, this would be a 5 star review no doubt.

Great bush knife
I bought this just to see if this clam shell kit was worth it . I won't say this kit is awesome , but very much worth the price !!!I'm very interested in their regular line of knives . If this is any indication, I'm very impressed .I am going to buy one of the regular line for my next knife purchase .
