Great Quality
This phone holder works very well. I have a huge samsung and this holder adjust for longer/wider phones. I have a double cup holder in my car and it still works perfect. They give you rubber pads so nothing gets ruined in your car when installing. The neck is long enough and sturdy enough to flex where you need it. You can orient your phone horizontal or vertical and IT DOESN'T MOVE. I would definitely recommend this product. Well worth the money.

Well-made Product That Works
There is one small downside for some people- you have to give up a drink holder cup. But all the other products I've tried have worse problems or don't work at all. (For first timers, see end of review)The holder fits solidly but is easy to remove if needed by simply twisting the base. The actual phone clamp is the most adaptable and simple I've used. You can place or remove your phone in 2 seconds. I have an iPhone XS Max in a Rebel case, and it fits easily. That combo is heavy, so it vibrates when I drive. My solution (see photo) was to put a piece of foam tape on the dash and set the stand so the corner of the phone touches the tape. Zero vibration.Viewing and operating the phone:Obviously, don't mess with the phone while you're driving. But you can see the screen easily and use the touch screen almost like it's on a table.Charger cord connects easily.About the other types of holders, here are the common problems I found:- Fit on air vents: Never found one that fits at all, or risks breaking the vent. Also not steady.- Almost all other holders- have to take your phone out of its case, many won't hold larger phones.- Suction cup not to glass: never had a car with any flat smooth surfaces.- Magnetic: where are you going to find any metal? Metal plates that you tape to the dash fall off when they get hot.- Suction cups to glass can work, but look out for these things: If you are farsighted, it's hard to put the phone far enough away. If you put the holder closer to the front, be careful about the sun, both washing out the image and overheating the phone- which can happen in a couple of minutes.

Initial impressions.
I can’t speak to longevity and durability of this product. But initially, it seems very sturdy. The flexible are is thick and heavy. Seemslike it will last. Easy to assemble. Adjusted fit snug in my cup holder. What I like the most is that the flexibility arm is long. I have side-by-side cup holders, and other lower level phone holders are too low, and can impede the other holder putting a drink in it. This allows me to easily have a drink next to the phone. Spring loaded phone clip holds the phone tight.

Works Well Overall
Update: after a week of driving around,A) stays in placeB) flexible arm jiggles but you can bend it so the phone is co-supported by the shifter or dashboard. This really stops the jiggling around.C) if you reposition the phone, retighten the two locking rings (easy and fast - and will guarantee the phone stays put)D) easy to adjust so it won’t block controls or ventsE) I like it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their phone on the console rather than up on the windshieldOriginal review:Fits into cup holder and holds phone pretty steady. Good for maps. Tapping on the phone will make the holder jiggle a little bit. This is not a flaw, just the result of the flexible arm. That said, the flexible arm gives you a ton of freedom to orient the phone just the way you want.Built very solidly- should last a long time.Easy to figure out and set up. Easy to remove or adjust. Releases the phone with touch of a button. Holder does not interfere with phone buttons or power cord. Recommend.

It's awesome and better than sticking it on the window.
I use it for my map app when I'm driving in my car. It is a perfect height I'm not distracted while I'm driving. I highly recommend getting this product. It fits in the compartment I have up front and I can still use my cup holders. And it comes with three extra rubber pieces. 15 in high is perfect.

A very handy gadget!!
I finally purchased this after wanting it for months and months. Why I didn’t get this sooner, I don’t know. It’s very well made. Puts your phone in a most convenient place. Easy to see and access. I love it!

As advertised
I seldom write reviews. Few products meet expectations nowadays. This is the exception. I've had a terrible time finding a quality phone holder for my truck. They are either to small, don't fit the cup holder right, cheaply made or rattle. This one seems perfect. Strong, well made, plenty large enough for my big phone and case. Sure, it's a little pricy. But you get what you pay for. At least you do with this holder. Highly recommended.

Gooseneck can get weak overtime
The gooseneck was nice and sturdy for a couple of months, but after a while if you became flimsy and did not want to hold the phone anymore. The weight of the phone and the neck just fall down

Not for all card
The product was advertised as military grade and my first impressions were it seem to be better built than my other 2 experience with cup phone holders. It seemed to be very secure in the cup. I would have kept it but I could position my phone when attached to the device in a safe comfortable location in my Honda Civic. The cup holders are positioned to the back of the gear shift. Also it is recommended that you use a data cable no longer than 2 ft and limits the number of position you can place the phone. So the device is ok but not for a Honda Civic
