🥟 Savor the Tradition, Embrace the Flavor!
The Vegan Quorn Pasty is a 180g delight made with British farmed vegetables, featuring marinated Quorn pieces and a blend of potato, onion, and swede, all wrapped in a light puff pastry. Baked in Cornwall since 1969, this pasty is free from artificial preservatives, colors, and flavors, making it a wholesome choice for vegans and vegetarians alike.

I tried cooking it most ways
Cold it's very simple, not unpleasant but definitely not amazing either. The pastry is very soft, the filling is very soft, and the gravy keeps a gell like texture.Heated in the microwave, the pastry gets smaller. The gravy becomes moist and the 'meat' is firmer. It tastes good like this.In the oven the pastry gets very crumbly which I prefer, and it puffs up quite a bit. The heat from the oven brought out the peppery flavour and I liked it best this way.I didn't try freezing it yet. I'll update if/when I do. In my opinion it's best eaten cooked in the oven!

Substantial and tasty - good for lunch
A good size and not too dry: good for a quick, tasty lunch or with chips and beans, we find. They're better than the ones I cook, anyway, and work out cheaper than buying all the various ingredients in the end.

Not enough filling
It was ok'ish cold but there wasn't really enough filling. Would probably be better put in the microwave for a couple of minutes before eating. The pastry will be warm and soft and not so overwhelming.

Tasted just as good as the meat version
Had for lunch was so good , heated in my air fryer so nice and crisp exterior and hot centre. I ended up giving parents a taste. I loved the pasty and so did my meat eating parents, they didn't believe me that it was vegan till i showed them the packaging.Buy this you will not be sorry !

Ginsters Vegan Quorn Pasty.
A very tasty, meat-free version of a traditional pasty; it's more like Morrisons own meat pasties in flavour and seasoning (which don't appear to be available through Amazon) and it differs from the Ginsters meat pasty which has a lot more onion and potato in evidence.Even if one isn't vegetarian or vegan, this is a perfectly acceptable item; it can be oven cooked or – as I choose – done in the microwave.

An excellent Vegan Light Pastry Pasty😋
Heated up with a squirt of brown sauce this is an excellent Vegan Cornish pasty. The pastry is 'medium light Cornish'. I personally prefer Traditional heavy Cornish pastry but my wife insists that this pastry is better for my midriff!Taste- for someone who has lost the taste for burnt animal flesh this pasty has all the necessary flavours and spices to give the right textures and taste to make it a regular hit on my shopping list.p.s. Don't tell my wife but can you also do a Heavy pastry version?
