JAMES GASKET GASKET RCKR CVR 91-03XL - 17030-91-X

Resealed both rocker boxes on my 2000 XL1200C. The rear rocker box is a moderately difficult job due to limited space between the rocker box and the frame backbone. The James gaskets cooperated the whole way. 😉 Additionally, the p/n for each piece in the kit was clearly printed on the outside of the package. The James part numbers translate to the HD parts book accurately. This is important if you lack specific product knowledge of the bike you are working on. ( because you can reconcile the numbers against the HD book) I deducted 1* for value because the OE gasket set is available for the same price.

These are the best gaskets you can buy imho. There is another good brand out there but I'm partial to James because they have never failed me, from the smallest O-ring to the 2 primary cover gaskets I've had to buy.The one-piece rocker box gasket is a thing of beauty. lol. Only gearheads like us would call a gasket "beautiful" but it really is. And it sealed up my front cylinder just right ('92 XLH 1200). Stick with James you won't go wrong.
