Bought this after the sport nuzzle i had leaked half the bottle in less than an hour. This product seals really tight and on cold days i have to use a sort of lever (usually the carabiner i leave on it) to pry it open. I'm thoroughly pleased with this.

I bought this for my 64 oz. double insulated growler. Though I have never had any sort of problem with the original swing-away latchtop, I wanted to try something new. I considered the stainless steel offerings & liked the way the bamboo looked, but reviews that mentioned squeaking and corrosion put me off.This top works great, it's lightweight and make zero noise while screwing it in or out. Best of all it is absolutely leakproof. Because it is designed well, there is no need to crank down hard to insure that your new top won't leak. "Snug" is fine. However if you do really crank down, you are still able to easily unscrew it. The finger hole on top is big enough to accommodate even big paws like mine. The gasket appears to be removable for cleaning.Now, I know it is made of plastic . . . OMG, get over it! Nearly EVERYTHING you touch, buy, or consume including your precious organic vegetables are shipped in plastic (in a bag inside a cardboard box, ask your grocery store). Does not bother me, but to each his own.Kleen Kanteen is a company that actually believes and demonstrates customer service. The quality of their products (like this one) accentuate that policy.
