Must-buy beginner kit for Kombucha!!
I’m not one to write product reviews, but this kit was such a big success for me that I just have to share it with others. Before buying, I had no clue how to make kombucha, let alone what fermentation even meant. It took me over an hour sifting through different kombucha kits on amazon until I finally settled on this one. It more than exceeded my expectations. It comes with ALMOST everything you need. The only thing I had to purchase outside of the kit was glass bottles to store the ‘buch in and also a wire brush to clean them with.The kit includes a directions handout that is so simple and to the point, it’s hard for even a beginner like me to screw it up. My first brew was amazing, I made half with grapefruit juice during the second ferment, and half with pineapple juice. This product is full quality, easy to use, and makes amazing kombucha. I’m already on my second batch now, and my SCOBY’s are looking so beautiful and healthy!

Nice basics
Perks:- temperature sticker is functional! (I expected this to be a gimmick.)- 1 gallon jar has lid. (Some others didn't.)- The kit came with little starter guide. (You're not missing out on anything if you don't get this product. It is nice to have a quick reference sheet, which you could find on the internet.)Downsides:- I would like to have more than 1 cloth so I can do back-to-back batches with a clean cloth each time.- I wish the 1 gallon jar had notches for the # of cups so i could use the jar instead of a measuring cup. I measured it out and drew some lines in sharpie, but it was pretty tedious.

Gave me confidence!
I have tried to brew kombucha before. It was sweet, fizzy and grew two new SCOBY. I was afraid to drink it. I didn't know what it was supposed to taste like. If it wasn't safe to drink how would I know? This kit comes with many safeguards. It had detailed instructions, pH paper and a stick on thermometer so I could insure the fluid was at the recommended temp. My first batch will be ready in a couple of days. I will start the next batch right away. Very happy with this product!

Molded. Uggh. The kit was super nice.
Molded. I have brewed many gallons before using a scoby from a friend for the first batch. Wanted to start again and needed a scooby this is the first time I have ever had a brew mold.

Excellent kombucha kit everything you need to get started
This is a wonderful fun kit. Fast shipping and well packaged. So easy to make fresh kombucha, on my second batch now. The kids just love to make and drink the freshly brewed kombucha. Will second ferment the next batch.Thanks, Allen
