Carex Soft Grip Folding Cane

Cane arrived in a cheap plastic so called carrying bag which was split open when received. Had I not needed to use right away I would have returned it immediately. Taking the cane out with the idea of folding it up when not in use means you have to bring your own elastic ( I threw the plastic bag it came in to the garbage.) I presumed the cane would hang on the edge of the table.. not so. It fell off so many times I finally gave up trying and laid it of the floor. Bad purchase on my part.

J'ai acheté la canne pliante car je n'utilise la canne que de temps en temps. Il est très pratique de pouvoir l'avoir avec soi en tout temps. La solidité de la canne m'a vraiment surprise, je craignais qu'elle soit branlante et bruyante à cause du fait qu'elle est en plusieurs bouts. Mais non, elle est même moins bruyante que la canne que j'utilisais qui n'est pas pliante seulement ajustable. Chaque joint est doté d'un anneau en nylon qui assure la stabilité et évite le bruit. La poignée est antidérapante ce qui évite qu'elle ne nous glisse des mains. Petit prix et très bon produit que demandé de plus.

The sections give it a noticeable wobble. Not super bad but notable.The biggest issue is how loud it is to use! Every time you put the foot into the ground the cane makes a clicking sound... it's like a wooden pegleg on a wood floor, it's rather loud. Luckily I only want this cane for extended standing and not for walking otherwise the clicking every step would drive me crazy.

I was surprised how sturdy the cane is to use, but disappointed there is No Strap or Clip to hold it together when folded. I would not have purchased had I known.

This cane is great except for a "metal clinking" sound when you use it... every time you put the cane on the ground as you walk... there is a metal clinking sound.
