It's resolution reads as 2k dci 1080p... so it's it 2k or 1080p? i don't know what dci is?

The resolution is 1080p (1920x1080). The term "2K" came from the film industry (DCI = Digital Cinema Initiatives) and meant 2048x1080 (cropped to 1998x1080 for a 1.85:1 aspect ratio) . When 1920x1080 started to show up these were generally grouped in under the "2K" banner.
