The pillowcase is made out of real mulberry silk because you can even smell the mulberry smell when you first opened the package (I grew up in a place with mulberry trees so I know how it smells). However some people may not like that mulberry smell, just simply wash it with detergent before use and it will be gone.To wash it, I just use regular allergy-free laundry detergent and wash by hand. Even though it says it can be washed with washing machine, but I don't want anything to happen to it so I just washed by hand then line dry.I love the smooth and cool feeling it provides. If you are looking for a slippery pillowcase then you should look into satin pillowcase instead of this because this is not that slippery and it doesn't fall off from my bed at all.

Since I was young I always wanted a silk pillow case. Not sure why exactly but I have. Finally decided to figure that out and found LilySilk. I honestly don't know alot about silk but I will tell you this, I don't wake up sweating every night and I even seem to be breathing better during the day. It all started about 3 days after I bought this pillow case. Buying one for my husband to see if he gets the same results.

I'm still in the trial phase, but so far I like this pillowcase. My mother recommended I use silk to help with hair, and face wrinkles. It fits my king size pillows to a T, I washed it and hung to dry. I won't iron it, but it is wrinkled. I'll keep using it and update my review in the future.

I love it. Needed this kind of pillowcase to help with my postpartum hair loss. It’s really pretty on my bed and comfortable to sleep on. I’ll come back on her after some time for a more thorough review but as of right now quality and looks it’s an excellent product.

I received this for free in exchange for my honest opinion.I think this pillowcase is silk, but it must be the cheapest silk available. It feels scratchy and almost synthetic. It becomes stiff and crisp when air dried, and it absorbed color from other items in the machine when I washed it.I got the king-size pillowcase, but it doesn't quite fit my pillows. It's very long (too long), but still not quite wide enough. It's a struggle removing the case from the pillow without damaging the zipper because it doesn't open enough.Overall, I'm disappointed in this pillowcase and would not recommend.
