Better than expected
I will start by saying no, these aren't exactly the same as the equivalent canon cartridges - but they are close enough to not care for personal use. The ink does dry extremely quickly, and seems to hold up just fine to normal handling. For my own art and photo prints I will be using this ink from here on. I no longer do professional work but if I did I would probably spring for the Canon ink for the very slightly darker blacks (and I do mean very slightly) and the likely better long term durability. Honestly Canon black cartridges with the color cartridges from this lot would probably be indistinguishable from all Canon cartridges to all but those heavily experienced with these printers. I might still notice but I highly doubt a customer would. These do not leak if you remove the tape first.

Good Quality...Unbelievable Price Difference
I bought this set of inks for my Canon Pro-100 a year ago. I installed them not long after that. But since then I haven't printed much (been caught up in other things). Just now (a year later) I did the usual print test. The doggoned things work fine! Given how much cheaper they are than a set of Canon inks I wouldn't have been surprised if they had dried up. But the nozzle test output is fine. When I printed with them last year I think I found them a little on the 'red' side...but that should be easily fixed by playing around with the print settings. Maybe (not sure) they might not be quite as brilliant as the Canon version, but for crying out loud, if you're not doing prints for sale or something they're perfect! And maybe they're fine for sale, too. Anyway...I'm totally impressed. And given the cost compared to Canon...I'm flabbergasted (if you'll forgive the use of an ancient word...hey, I'm old) :-)UPDATE 01.13.2021: So, these carts have been sitting in my Canon Pixma Pro 100 for *months* (I've been distracted). This evening I pulled up a photo I took a while back, and printed it. I find it hard to believe that it printed great. No problem with ink drying up or anything. And as long as I let the printer manage the color, it was great. Sure, maybe this ink might not be what you'd use to get something hung in a gallery...but for photos that you print for your own walls, or friends (and maybe for some commercial sale) this ink is amazing. On the other hand, the carts I'm still using have been in this printer for a long time (many months)...so I don't know if the quality of the ink is as good as it was when I bought it last year...but if it is, it's still an incredible deal (I don't know what a set of Canon cartridges costs these days, but back then it was about 8 times as much as these. I hope the quality is the same as it was...I need to buy more. :-) ~thanx

Great value for me
Purchased to test if my printer would still print after being in storage for 3 years. Had to turn off printer after installing because cartridges were not recognized but once reset this printed better than expected. Did not have leaking issue as others have commented. I didn’t spend a car payment for OEM cartridges for a test that might not have even worked at all. Not that I agree to this, but I would have been fine having to toss or donate at this price point, if the printer did not work. Was not going to replace the printer if it ended up not working. I can see where the richness you would expect when needing to print professional quality photos, but for the majority of what I will be printing (craft projects/digital images) these exceed my expectations. When I will want or need to print my hobbyist photos to frame, I will turn to Canon ink, and switch back to these for everyday. I took off a star because it’s not quite an exact match to Canon. Otherwise very happy, and will be purchasing the larger pack next time I need more ink.
