Q: How many photo pages does an ink cartridge produce before requiring replacement?

I print about 60 8x10 photos and 100 dvd discs before needing to replace the cartridge

Not quite sure what you are asking but these cartridges are filled with pigment ink, the same ink that professional printers use because dye inks fade over time while pigment doesn't. These is also one cartridge in there that is actually a 'sealant' that protects the pigment inks as well, it's the CO cartridge. The inks are expensive and should not be used for day to day printing needs, just photos.

Yes you are correct it is rated as archival quality, to hold color for up to 200 years when not exposed to light damage. Obviously I can't vouch for the 200 year claim but I can tell you the colors look really great on the printed page.

I don't think so, this ink set is for a Canon Pro 10 photo printer. I think it's just really high end inkjet
