Incredible book, must read
No library is completed without this book, its incredible and overall an amazing read. My only issue with it is that the introduction spoils a little too much into the book but you don't have to read it if you don't want to. Came here on time, no damage, 5 stars well deserved!

Good binding, comfortable form factor and comfortable fonts
Altogether this is a good quality modern English reproduction of one of the most important and most ancient classics. The form factor is comfortable to hold,, not too large or too small, not too thin or too thick. The font is also very comfortable. The size of the font and the glyph of the font while not anything fancy or spectacular and even bordering boring make for virtually no eye strain at any reasonable reading distance from full arm's length to less than a foot away.Overall I am very pleased. If I were to offer any critical comments I can think of two:1) I am a tad concerned with how well the binding will hold up over time. It appears a tad tight.2) While I feel the design was not accident and is likely intended to bring an element of visual effect to the reproduction of an ancient classic, the black-on-black of the front title, spline title and the background make the book less identifiable. That is not much of an issue since the proud owner of this book will recognize it for years to come from its fairly rare though practical form factor together with the sheer blackness of the book, but if a book owner were to ask a friend to go pull Plato's Republic from the owner's stack, the unfamiliar guest will stumble to spot the title. This is, of course, very trivial. Overall, I like the effect and find it different so that it stands out on my stack, and the darkness feels somewhat fitting from the antiquity of this timeless classic that would be tragic were ever society to loose site of one of the most important works of philosophy in all of civilization. The work undeniably shaped modern civic institutions.
