Glad I went for the Radio Flyer Wagon
I never had a wagon when I was a kid, so I could hardly wait to get one for my daughter. Now that she is starting to sit up fairly well (6 months), I figured it was a good time to make the purchase. I read lots of reviews for the many wagons that are out there. I quickly realized that a main factor affecting total cost is the quality of the tires included. However, I am extremely happy I ponied-up the money for a model with pneumatic (air-filled) tires. The plastic and solid rubber tires provide a much more jarring, rough ride, while the pneumatic ones glide much more smoothly and are compatible with more types of terrain. Also, it turns out that (for us) the Radio Flyer brand was a great choice. The assembly was straight forward (about 20 minutes... that included having to keep tabs on the baby). We got the model with the metal base and wood railings, and all areas of the wood and metal components are smooth and finished (no sharp edges). The quality seems everything that I would expect from a company with their type of reputation. My only complaint about the wagon (and many others have pointed this out) is that the tires smell like... well... new tires, meaning that until they aired-out sufficiently, the wagon smelled like the showroom at a tire center. For us, this wagon is turning into a surrogate stroller. Our daughter doesn't like being strapped into the stroller, and I was getting frustrated having to choose between pushing a screaming baby up and down the neighborhood or pushing an empty stroller while carrying the baby in my arms (and getting a sore back). Fortunately, she LOVES being carted around in the wagon. We added some padding (pillows/blankets) and now our daughter rolls like she is commanding a chariot. She couldn't be happier sitting their with a little freedom to move around and a toy or two in the wagon with her. The smooth ride on the pneumatic tires also seems to sooth her to sleep, and the wagon makes more a great little portable crib. Another cool thing about the Radio Flyer brand is that it seems anyone who is over 40 years old has nostalgia associated with the company, so it's a great conversation starter for a lot of folks who have a number of happy memories. Very happy with purchase!

Greatest little wagon ever made.
Love this little wagon so much I have two. I use them for my light gardening/yard work. But if you’re planning to buy one keep watch on the price. Don’t overpay during one of their big price jumps that they often have.

1st birthday gift for my son - great wagon!!
My husband and I wanted to get our son a wagon for his first Birthday. I was looking at the plastic ones with the seats, seat belts, cup holders, and everything, but then when my hubby saw this one there was no way we were going to get one of the plastic ones. Since my son is only 14 months old and a little guy I do sometimes wish it had some kind of seat belts or something, but he has learned to hold on and not to stand up when the wagon is moving. We throw a blanket in there for him to sit on to make it a little more comfortable since it is a metal wagon. The wagon itself is awesome! It looks great, love the red color and the wooden rails. It is built of good materials. My husband was able to put it together while keeping an eye on the little guy in the backyard, he said it was easy to assemble. The tires did have a strong chemical smell out of the box as others have reported but it only took a few days to air out and didn't seem to bother my son at all. Our wagon did not arrive damaged as others reported (not a scratch) so we were very happy about that. The wagon rides smooth, even over bumpy terrain (for a wagon). Its pretty comfortable to pull, and turns easy. It is heavy (its metal!) and will fit two little ones comfortably. The best part, our little man just loves his wagon. His eyes light up when we pull it out of the shed for him. He loves to push it around the yard, and he loves to take wagon rides. Rides in the wagon have become part of his evening routine: dinner, wagon, bath, bed. We wanted something special for our 1st baby's first birthday and this was perfect. I'm sure our son will get a lot of use out of it - helping dad around the yard and taking his wagon rides. I'm hoping it lasts him for many years!

My Son and I BOTH Love This Wagon!
I have found memories of the little red wagon I had as a boy, so when my own son turned 2, I decided to buy him his own red wagon. I chose this model because of the pneumatic tires and the wooden side boards. Both features have turned out to be worth every penny. The big pnematic tires make the wagon smooth and easy to pull on a varity of surfaces. The side boards allow my son to pile it up high with branches and leaves from when he "helps" with the yardwork, or when he wants to fill it up with every outdoor toy that we own. :) He loves to ride in the wagon too. We walk to the Farmer's Market almost every weekend and the wagon carries him plus all of our fresh fruits and vegetables (plus kettle korn if he's good). On one occasion, we managed to fit my son and 2 of his cousins in the wagon (ages 2, 5, & 9). And we made it just fine too ... this is one sturdy wagon. Best Features: -Old Fashioned Good Looks -Very sturdy construction -Pneumatic tires are smooth and quiet across a variety of surfaces -Wooden side boards increase capacity Drawbacks: -Metal construction can get hot in the sun -Easy to scrape the paint off the metal handle if it falls on concrete Summary: The pneumatic tires and wooden side boards make this wagon a great child's toy that should last outlast his/her interest and still be good for the next generation.

Radio Flyer wagon is great. Easy to follow instructions. The inside seating dimensions are 37” long x 15” wide; so plenty of room for our 2 grandkids. The side panels are easily removed. The large tires manoeuvre easily along our gravel road. Heavy duty construction appreciated. Highly recommended.

Este Vagon es de excelente calidad, fuerte y espacioso. Si quieres llevarlo contigo en auto requerirás un SUV. Hay que armarlo y requieres cierta destreza.

Tires are impossible to pump as the air nozzle does not come up.
