Well these are just brilliant - I have taken up baking and cake decorating as a hobby and really struggled with making models until I got these. So, so many uses - you can mix and match the parts for different sizes. Also just use arms, legs etc. Just so, so glad I bought these. As they say practice makes perfect and I definitely need some more practice - thinking about buying a spare set as would be lost without them. Please remember I am really new to cake decorating and hopefully my models will improve but have supplied some photos of my attempts - ha ha

I always thought how other people made lovely body figures on cakes? Then I found these body figures moulds. I used it today and I love it! This is the first time I use the moulds for 3D icing figure and I found them so easy to use and not sticky at all!!! I thought I sprinkle some icing sugar first and it came out easily, then I forgot to sprinkle icing sugar on legs mould and they still came out easily. I use ready roll icing and actually I just used them like playing play dough. Then I used some plastic tool knife cut around the edges. Dadala!!! All shapes look very good!!! I am so impressed of myself and I wished I bought them ages ago! Although my first figure is not so perfect from picture but I think I just need a lot more practice.

I thoroughly washed and dried moulds before using. I used this product for making figures for a Harry Potter cake. I used cornflour to stop fondant sticking, but will try white vegetable fat next time. I made a couple of prototypes beforehand as I did not read the instructions thoroughly but have made models with fondant before. Even so, it was fairly easy to achieve an acceptable finish. I found it was easier to colour some body parts in the clothes colour as I was not sure how to dress the models and as I was working with the smallest size everything was a bit fiddly.

As an amateur self taught cake maker this mould was a Godsend in making a 21st gym themed cake. I'd never done a figurine for a cake before but this was easy to use and saved a lot of time because if I'd made a figurine from scratch it would've taken hours and been very laborious. I would certainly recommend this. The recipient of the cake was over the moon with the end result.

This order was delivered before the date it was due, which is always a nice surprise,The merchant who sold it send me an e-mail asking if I had received the item in a timely manner and if everything was OK.The only way I can really describe this, is fantastic. I dread having to make figures for cake toppers, but with this it has made the job so much easier. The moulds themselves are made from plastic that is thick enough so that when you need to apply pressure they don't flex or bend, meaning you get even pressure along the whole mould. the moulds have been well designed so that the pieces are workable and enable you manipulate them into the desired position. The join between the bottom and the top is positioned so that you can dress both halves separately and then join them and cover the join with a belt. The features are well defined as are the hands and fingers.unusually this comes with a set of instructions that is actually useful. How many things have you bought something and the instructions read fill mould and remove from mould. The instructions for these simple but good, they also include some useful tips.the moulds can also be used to lay the model in and work them in a stable way (make etc).All in all a very good buy, especially if like me you have trouble making figures, I just hope they bring out some different sizes and a range of animals.
