-- Before hanging, align hook with hole, wire or whatever will support your artwork. Be sure that the clear plastic adhesive base doesn't poke above the piece you're hanging.-- Follow the directions by cleaning the (appropriate) surface with rubbing alcohol, and let dry.-- Allow to adhere to surface for 24 hours.-- Hang. In our case it was for a piece of artwork, displayed on subway tile. It wasn't terribly expensive, but is fragile, weighs about 8 pounds and wasn't fun to transport in a crowded airplane cabin. In other words: We wouldn't want to replace this piece.

Maybe the product was old when shipped because it was useless as an adhesive hook. What little adhesive it had was equivalent to a garment roller. I tried all 4 hook on glass tile with the same result. I'm returning.UPDATE: I received the replacement hook. It lasted much longer but it still lost it's adhesiveness.

They are what they are. Not bad, not great...I guess I expected them to be similar to Command Hooks. Once these things are on, they're ON. So in that respect, thumbs up. Hook appears as if it cannot handle very much weight, however.

The product works very well. Sticks very firmly to the surface and supports the heavy weight I hung on it.Just one problem: I would like to move the hook to another location, but I don't know if there are any precautions to take to make sure it will stick as well once it's been removed from its original location. The instructions on the package are in Chinese, with no translation provided of any kind. I checked the company's website to see if they had a link to instructions in English, but alas, no.

I have been having problems keeping a metal shower caddy on the shower wall with other adhesive hooks. I wanted to give this hook a try and am very impressed so far. The shower caddy is metal with three shelves, holds four-five shampoo/conditioner bottles, soap bars, etc., and still stays there with no sign of falling down. I understand it's not made for painted walls, the surface should be smooth like tile, glass, or metal for it to adhese itself completely.

Failed to hold a hanging ceiling lamp on a chain. Total weight was about 8 pounds... almost 10 less than the rated capacity. I was ok that it couldn’t hold it, maybe it is rated differently for that type of adhesion. The part I cannot forgive it that the adhesive came away from the plastic sheeting when it failed. This left me with just the adhesive on the ceiling. I cannot get it to come off, I’ll likely have to resort to some serious goo be gone and possible a repaint. Frustrating.

These hooks are amazing. I stuck on on the tile in the shower, so I could hang a plastic shower caddy for soap and shampoo.It's been more than 6 months and the hook is holding strong.I like the clear plastic backing too, as it doesn't show too much.Good stuff!

I’m so disappointed! These feel so cheap and don’t start class to the wall for long even with minimal weight!i tried to use 2 of the stickies in the 4 pack for a 9lb clock and it fell off right away leaving a long deep scratch down my wall. I’m extremely disappointed!
