Planer Folding Table Accessory for DW735 Planer (DW7351)

I read through all the reviews and they were dead on. Perfect for my planer! I lost mine when someone borrows my planer, so this is a perfect replacement.

I purchased a DW735 used a few years ago. Got a GREAT deal ($300.00) and I love the planer however I was always dealing with snipe. These solved the problem, still get some minor snipe but when I add some upward pressure to the stock as it enters and exits the planer virtually NO SNIPE. I couldn't achieve this without the infeed/outfeed tables. I don't know why I didn't get them sooner for my planer. The tables are adjustable and mine were factory configured perfectly. Not a lot of info in the manual about "tweaking" them but a bunch online. *GREAT ADDITION if you don't have them**** Next investment will probably be carbide blades, ugh $$$

They were a perfect fit.

This is a stable set with some exceptions. First off, plan to adjust and level the in feed and out feed to be level with the main bed. This is typical of any setup. This is easily done with the screws on the sides of the bed. Using a level simply adjust the the tables up or down. Then tighten the outer screws. A light behind the level can be used to insure the is no gap and the table is set level. Although set up is easy I highly recommend replacing the screws on the side of the tables. They are made of very soft metal. The Alan bit size is a little off. They strip very easy. Combine this with the person at the manufacturing plant over tightening them when assembled leaves me unempressed. They will also need a simple cleaning with mineral spirits to remove the packing oil. This is common with most tools. Overall I am pretty happy with the tables as the material is pretty stout and the price was better than what can be purchased at the big box store. This would have received five stars but I found the set screws lacking. I would expect more from Dewalt.

Awesome improvement but like everyone else said, why not put it in with the planer in the first place. And like all things woodworking, if you take your time, install is intuitive. And note to DeWalt. Give us an alternative vacuum outlet. The current one is useless.

Perfect fit for my DeWalt thicknesser and they are actually rather solid and sturdy (I was thinking they would be flimsy but they are built tough). More then happy with this purchase and fitment took but a couple minutes. Highly reccomend this item!
