Q: Does this product cause that flakey texture or crumbles like others?

No I never experienced that problem with theses lip paints... I always use a lip balm before using any matte products.

Q: is it hard to remove?

It stays pretty long; however it's not hard to remove! I just clean it with makeup oil towel or cleaning toner works too! :)

Q: has anyone tried 'bumble', and IS is subtle, in a manner of speaking?

I have only tried Time Square (which is gorgeous) in the Ultra Matte but what I WILL say is if Bumble is a MATTE, reconsider it because the forumla is too thick and drying. If it is Ultra SATIN, get it. Both are long-wearing, I just wouldn't advise the Matte at all !
