Does it attract flies as well as mosquito's?

No flies in my zapper, moths and mosquitoes

This will work any brand zapper correct not just Flowtron?

This product contains a half dozen octenol cartridges shaped to fit the holder on the bottom of the Flowtron bug zapper. To use it in another zapper, you would need a holder. Since the Flowtron's holder is on the very bottom of the zapper, I found it difficult to keep these in the holder without gravity taking its toll. I ended up putting these on the shelf as spares and going with the Black Flag octenol lure instead, since it comes with a handy holder which clips onto the side of just about any zapper. I believe (hope?) I can use the Flowtron cartridges in this holder when I need to refresh the octenol.

I ordered this last year for $8.46, now it's $24.95. Why?

COVID19!!!!! Everything will cost 2-3 times more. Amazing how the new normal will affect the wallet.

Is the plastic cover on the bottom of this product supposed to be removed or not ?

The bottom rectangular piece is removable and the mosquito bait is placed inside the part so gravity is a good thing
