The Never-Bored Kid Book, Ages 8-9

The kids were skeptical, but since they were stuck at a boring function, they gave it a try and stayed busy for an hour. These kids were nine, and they found the activities to be of the right type/level. I had a package of thin markers, which worked well. I did forget the scissors and glue stick, but we just saved those activities for next time--there are only a few that need it.It's nice that this book has a variety of activities and not just a coloring book hiding as an activity book. It really does have good activities.

From the time he received the book, he planned out the pages he would do and how long it would take him to finish. He loved this book.

We took this on holiday over Christmas and it was a godsend. Kept our 10-year-old happy and engaged for hours. We have had several of the “Never Bored” series over the years and know to bring glue and scissors as well as pens, pencils, rubber, sharpener, etc. It is probably not for tiger-parents as it errs on the side of fun rather than maths and English, but it is full of facts about koalas, chickens, helicopters, etc, etc. And it was a holiday!

My 7 year old son told me to save it for his 4 month old sister. I was hoping to get him away from Minecraft. To be fair, he didn't even attempt to like it. I'll try again. The book is fine. My son just doesn't have the patience for it and as he said, he doesn't like crosswords. But it does have activities too.

This book provides hours of fun filled activities for my 8 year old daughter who always claims to be bored. The projects that she completes out of this book gives her a sense of accomplishment and she is eager and excited to share with everyone. I highly recommend this book for the 8-9 year old with an active mind.

This book was better than most to keep our child occupied during a summer trip involving lots of time on planes, trains and in automobiles.

BEST activity book ever. Kept my 7 year grand daughter busy for an entire weekend. Only needs, scissors, tape/glue sticks, crayons or markers to make the projects. They were cute and fun. I also bought the one for the younger age and they love theirs as well.

Lots of different content and activities for kids to do. Great for when you're on the road or when the kiddos are just simply bored.
