Perfect - works like a charm!

This product screwed on easily to the male end of my 100' garden hose. After attaching that to my electric tire air pump, all the water in the hose blew out of the unattached end so that I could store the hose safely for winter. The process did not require an air compressor, just a simple electric tire pump. The product makes it easier to winterize a garden hose by a senior citizen without having to wrestle with a hose heavy with water. This valve is made of brass for durability. I recommend it.

Great product

My old well system water tank does not have a diaphram nor a built in schrader valve. the only way To fix waterlog (low air in the tank) was to drain the system, reprime the pump, and recharge the system. I used this on a spicket directly below the tank, with the pump off, i addeded air and removed 4 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket, added air to 30 psi, repeated 2 more times for about 12 gallons of water from my 32 gallon tank, then once the pump reprimed itself (adding air where i did also pushed air down toward the well through the pump), the tank was no longer waterlogged. could flush the tolet twice before the pump cylcled. Defore adding the air, it was cylcling on and off 2-3 times with every flush. This product wirged great for adding air and I think this could be usefull for blowing out water lines when winterizing a system.

easy to use, easy to store

Just screw it on a boiler drain or purge valve, pressurize test with air before using water in system.

Screwed on end of hosepipe and on end of a faucet. Worked well in both situations.
