Tamiya Remote Controlled Forklift

So cool came with all the parts made it in 35 mins and can’t wait to upgrade it. Temp working dock I built to use the toy and it’s so fun

Most important Parts of the Tamiya model were brittle and already broken inside the box. Touching them broke the brittle parts even further. It was a nightmare to fix then using Kwik glue and to later complete the assembly using zip ties (see pics for proof)! Avoid this and other Tamiya models at all costs, specially if it’s for someone birthday or special occasion.

I am very happy with this little guy. It arrived ahead of the scheduled time and was bubbled wrapped.The kit comes with a single building manual that has both japanese and english instructions. Overall, the instructions are easy to follow and quite clear but some attention must be paid to what screws are being used at which step. The parts are made of good plastics and I am very happy with the end result.My only problem is the bundled remote. The remote is a self assembled plastic box. As such, the spring for the joysticks do not work properly, which leads to the joysticks sticking even after you let go.

製作図面には、複数の場所にグリスを塗る指示がありましたが、付属のグリスだけでは足りませんでした。小学生の息子だけで製作する予定でしたが、ところどころで難しい部分があった為、プラモデルやラジコン等の製作経験のある親のサポートで完成しました。やはり品質精度の良いタミヤなので、動作もスムーズでした。
