So perfect for building vocabulary
I love the packaging and the quality is very good. You can pop it in your purse and practice at the hair salon like I did today or sit on the couch and review alone. I have yet to play the game but it seems well concieved and really fun. You can easily learn on your own with this product.

Excellent for your spanish class!
You can get them to talk with these cards as they contain prompts for students to practice. If you're a teacher or just learning Spanish then these cards will be very useful to boost your memory and learn language patterns to engage in conversation!

Fun & Easy
As a Japanese Language teacher I'm always looking for new games for my students to play. In the past I have used Uno cards to create various games. While the game play can be similar to uno, the cards were much different.First the quality of the product: I felt there was a higher quality to these cards than some games I have purchased in the past. They have a nice texture to them that will last more than a semester or two.Second, the imagery: There is a variety of action photos, drawings, icons and charts. It does not feel so childish that I would not use it with an adult class, and not so boring that I wouldn't use it for children. It is a good balance.Third, the use of Japanese script: For true beginners, learning to read is a challenge that takes more than a few weeks to master. This game provides romaji (Japanese written in Latin letters) support in smaller font under the larger Japanese script. It helps that the Japanese script is colorful and is confined to hiragana and katakana with only a few of the most basic kanjiFourth, the game: While the playing of the cards is similar to uno and other such card games, this game requires the students to ask a question each time they play a card. For true beginners the images on the cards give them the opportunity to use new skills with a provided vocabulary. For more advanced students, they can use the question as a starting point and ask more elaborate questions. Even the answers are provided to help teach responses.I appreciate this card game. There are times when I'm asked to give a brief lesson at schools. This is a game that I can use for such purposes. and it will make a nice reward for students at the end of a long session or unit.If I could change anything, I would want to have a larger sized set. The cards are roughly the size of regular playing cards. If I had a larger teacher set I could hold it up for the class. Yet I also like this small size because I can take it to a group event without hauling a large suitcase of manipulatives. With our current global situation, playing card games may be on the back burner, but I still feel these cards can be utilized. For online courses, or in person, the teacher can display the card using a projector. The questions on the cards are engaging and the students should interact will with them.As a language teacher with over 13 years of experience teaching Japanese, I highly recommend this game as a supplement for classes.

Instructions are not clear
Unfortunately the instructions are confusing. It says something in English and something completely different in Spanish. Disappointed with the instructions.I can still use this as a simple question/answer exercise.

Lots of fun!
I got the Spanish 1 version of the game for my 8 year old grandson. He picked up vocabulary quickly but I needed more resources for conversation. His mom played with us and it took us awhile to get the hang of it. We didn’t have too much difficulty with the directions. Once we played a few rounds it made sense. We have all gotten better with the questions and answers and it has been fun. We will get the 2nd set when he is comfortable with the first.

¡Increíble!
Thank you so much for this resource!! I use these for private lessons, and plan to use them with my beginning level classes as school this year. The cards are accessible to all and will guarantee that all students are on task- they have questions with options for answers, so students will feel confident and safe speaking with their class mates. Because students are exposed to the same questions more than once, the game will help reinforce previously learned language while introducing new vocabulary and structures. I imagine you’ll have 100% of students on task with this game, and you’ll hear a lot of Spanish. For Spanish 1 students, there are a few reflexive questions that may present a slight challenge, but you can just write these ones on the board with their meanings.I saw in the reviews that someone didn’t receive instructions. Mine came with instructions that were very clear and easy to follow. The game works like Uno, but you ask a question when you play a card.I would also love to have a set of these cards with particular focuses, such as questions in the preterite and other grammatical areas.
