Pelican1650 Camera Case With Foam, Desert Tan

Great case. pPcked it up as a foot locker / travel case holds a lot of clothing purchased a return, which there was absolutely nothing wrong with it so got it for 350$ less than regular price; bought the molle panel to go with it, couldn’t be happier

It's a pelican so you know the quality is great. Unfortunately like a lot of amazon descriptions the details of the descrippton are somewhat lost. This pelican although a 1650, is designed a little different than my others, which I don't like as much. First of all the main handle on the front is half as long as I'm used to. It's not designed for a 2 handed lift. Not good. Also the bottom of the peli has awkward feet that stick out which make it uncomfortable when carry the case because the feet scratch against your leg. I like the wheels and the pull out handle on the top. Overall this was a great price and was amazon Prime. But I would have bought the other style if done again.

One note, walking around with a case this big, in say nyc, is a good way to get robbed. Rugged, well built, but not indestructible. The top or bottom could fracture if you sit on it. The metal tabs around the lock are more show than reliable security.

The Pelican Case 1650 fits the Sparks Hockey Blade Sharpener. I was able to fit the sharpener, edge checker, alignment tool, grinding rings, blade holder, stone/leather. Overall dimensions are a little smaller than the one that Sparx sells. I'm posting this review to help other hockey families save some money. Hope this helps.

The case is great, only issue I have is that the base layer foam is about two inches too small to compleatly cover the bottom layer of the case. Also thiner pick and pluck, three layers instead of two would have been nice so that smaller or larger equipment could be better packed and not too deep or close to the bottom of the case. Otherwise, I'm happy.
