I bought the 3.5" skewers to use to make "Caprese On a Stick". These were perfect for that and for the party (for customers at a store). Multiple people asked where I got these unique skewers. I could have used a regular toothpick, but for health reasons I wanted a taller skewer so people's hands would be nowhere near the food.Note that these are THICK skewers. I measured the width of a skewer and it's a tiny bit over 1/8" (but not 3/16"). The pointed end is smaller, of course, measuring 1/16". So, if you are going to use these in food that can split from the pick, you may want to use smaller diameter picks/skewers. The length was 3.5" as specified. The paddle at the top uses up 1" of that 3.5" and is about 3/8" wide. The paddle makes it very easy for people to grab the item.The wood was very smooth, I found no splinters on the 90 skewers that I used that night.The only negative about using this type of skewer is that obviously you are throwing away more waste than a standard skinny toothpick. But, sometimes you need something more than a regular toothpick due to sizing of the food or for presentation.I would definitely buy these again.Hope this info helps!c~Handmade In Conifer Jewelry

They are very practical and look expensive....but my mistake was getting tear drop tomatoes and very small rounds of fresh mozzarella. The fraltvplanks split both the tomatoes cheese and even the basil!I ended throwing everything in a bowl!Consider the size of whatever you are skewering

I used these to make antipasta skewers - they were perfect! Loved the handle on one end too.

Bought these just too get my stuck spen out of my phone and it worked so they were totally worth the money
