ORP SmartHorn and Bike Light - Blue

I'm very happy with this product, but can't give it 5 stars (see two reasons, below). I think it is the BEST option out there I could find, and well worth the investment. I really like that it is rechargeable (USB), looks good, easy to attach, easy to use, and high quality. It literally helped my twice over the first two days (today a woman pulled out of a side street looking the wrong way and on her phone with the windows rolled up, and she heard my "horn" and stopped!)....CONS:1. it only fit near the center of my handle bar, so in a situation where one is going fast and really needs to sound an alert, it seems be more dangerous to take my hand off the grip (it could needs an extender, remote or something to get the switch near my thumb)2. As others point out, it's not a traditional bell/horn sound that people might expect, and could be louder. I think a "Meep, Meep" sound is more recognizable.I still think it is a great product and great option, my 2 criticisms is for the manufacturer to work consider a version 2.0 :)

This is not the light that's going to help you own the night but it is a very cool tool for helping one be seen and heard. The "friendly thumbs up" horn is so awesome that I hit it just for grins. When coming to an intersection or approaching pedestrians, a quick thumbs up produces a quick flash of the strobe and a friendly beep beep. I already have major league lights that illuminate the trail but I love this for the safety and fun factors.Update - after 6 months of use, I love this thing and never leave home without it. I'm a daily commuter on green belt. As green belt fills up with users in summer months, I feel naked without my ORP. It allows me to give other GB users a friendly tweet as I pass. I also like flashing the lights at intersections and in traffic. It has also stood up well to use and as I move it from commuter, to road bike to mountain bike.

Very cool. Very practical and useful. I no longer ride my bike without it.

Great purchase, good light to be seen (not to see, and I imagine that in case of accident,it is not legally approved but most lights aren't anyway), not too agressive polite noise, loud noise that drivers hear, genius idea. I love it.
