Great books for young people
I purchased 5 of these, each different. It started with one as a Christmas present for oldest great grandson. On New Years Eve (4 of them got to spend a couple days with me) they began giving me lessons on what they had learned. They are 5,6,7,&8. The oldest read to the younger two. They liked them so much I bought four more for their birthdays. They now have a nice collection for science, bugs, ocean, basic science and engineering. I would highly recommend these books

Fun and educational
My son loves this book. Its very educational and easy for him to understand (he's 7) my only complaint is that I wished the subjects were more than 2 pages. They give 2 pages of information (which doesn't include a lot) per subject that's covered in this book. However, it's good for kids that love science and are interested in learning more.

Science is FUN!
As a former educator (now retired) I have noticed while girls generally like books with a plot, boys overwhelmingly like factual/science and trivia-based books. My 11 yr old grandson is not a big reader but he loved this book! I was thrilled!
