Peerless-AV Peerless Slimline SUF650P Ultra-Thin Flat Mount

What a great wall mount,, simply stunning practical and i wish i would have purchased sooner.I had a Full motion wall articulating mount before and most of them really arent a seemless look because of the depth that they stick out from the wall.I barely pulled the mount out and figured why would I keep what I dont use. So I looked for a alternative and im glad I did..The mount mixed with my slim tv is only 1 1/2 inches from the wall... and believe me its thin. Well made parts and everything was included the velcro also made since. I saw another reviewer mentioned the wiring because of the Samsung thin tv and the connections on the back was cripping and messing everything up wish also became a issue for me since most of my connections are on the side of the tv however a few connections I needed was on the back as well.I looked for other cabling that was slim line and thin,, and now I dont have that cable crimping and snag all you have to do is a little research as with everything i am 100% satisfied and I would buy more.

This is a pretty great mount that should come with longer spacers and screws to get a full 5 star rating. Like many of the other reviewers this will only give you the clean look of a mounted TV sans wires if your power plug and inputs are on the side and you have sufficiently recessed power plates in your wall behind the TV. Otherwise your TV will not be flat on the wall.I mounted an older model 50" plasma that was fairly heavy and it seems to be rock solid.

I finally got around to installing the mount which I purchased here months ago. Installation was very simple with the included instructions. The mount is very secure if you properly find the studs. The TV is a 55 inch Samsung and now lays so flat against the wall that it really is like a large picture frame mounted(I ran the cables through drywall & then patched up). It allows for some side to side adjustment as advertised and it's quite simple to do. Hanging the TV on the mount I was able to easily do by myself with no worries or trouble. Even when I forgot a connection and had to remove and re-hang it, not a problem because the mount is so flush it's easy to find the track. This is my first review but I felt compelled to write this as I was so pleased with how secure and flush this mount is.

I was disappointed that the manufacturer feels it necessary to make the vertical arms so long that they can put their logo at the bottom and I can see it below the television set. Why do I need to see "Peerless" at the bottom of my TV? I tried mounting the TV lower, to cover, but this was not possible.

I have 12 Flat screen TVs in my house. This mount is the easiest to install by far. Comes with all the possible screw combinations and even the nut-driver bit for my drill/driver. Mounts very, very close to the wall. Looks great. Far better than all those other mounts I have that stick out an inch or more. This thing makes my TV look like it's a picture on the wall. No, it doesn't tilt or rotate like my other ones do, but when was the last time I rotated any of them... oh yeah, that's right, I NEVER move/tilt any of them. They all are sitting there in the same spot since the day I put them up. Do yourself a favor and get this one. It's slick.

Bought a Samsung Smart Thin TV and this mount did not work at all with the TV. As an FYI it's kind of a design flaw on Samsungs part as they put the cord for the TV right in the way of where the mount bar goes. However the cord for the TV sticks out and does not allow the TV to be flush against the wall. Additionally, the connections for the TV to other devices are not possible for use with this type of mount as they are not located on the side of the TV, but the back and once again stick out to far for this low profile mount. This is not to say this product is bad, but buyer beware it will NOT work on the Samsung Thin TV's!

Best low profile mount I've ever used. TV goes flat to the wall, so (a) order one small enough to hide behind your (thin) TV entirely and it will look like a painting on the wall, and (b) measure several times before mounting anything because it's not really something you can adjust once the screws are in the wall. We planned carefully; it looks great! Not the mount for those wanting to tilt or swivel the TV after they get it in use... Good luck!

This thing is slim...almost too slim. My TV power plug pushes the TV out even with a recessed outlet, because this mount is so slim. I should have gone with the articulating arms, but the boss (aka wife) said she wanted the smallest profile possible. I will have to move my outlet further into the wall. Well if slim is what you want this is the right product.The only reason this isn't a 5 is I had to drill extra holes to ensure I mounted it on two studs. I attached it with 6 screws total (4 on studs and 2 on drywall). I have a heavy 48" and I don't quite trust the drywall mounts.
