This is the cucumber for you!
I purchased this item as I needed a cucumber quite urgently. I expected to get an average cucumber.Boy was I surprised. This cucumber was perfect! First, the colour: it was the perfect shade of green - not a pasty, bottom of the barrel, anaemic green which is the bane of many a cucumber, but a lovely vibrant solid dark green, like a forest of trees in the height of summer.But now for the important parts. First, the length - it was the right length, let me tell you. Sometimes the length is unsatisfactory but this one was just right. Next, the shape - now it's just personal preference, but I really don't like a bendy or curved cucumber: it just doesn't look right. Yes, I know it's all down to genetics but a long, straight cucumber is what I prefer. Finally, the most important shape part: the girth. Some cucumbers are just too thin. There's nothing worse than the expectation of receiving a nice, long, straight, thick cucumber only to get a thin thing that looks more like a pickle. This one was just right - nice and thick with ridges in just the right place.In short, this was the perfect cucumber to satisfy me and I would thoroughly recommend it.PS. It tasted fine.
