Dobermans are supposed to quiet dogs. My previous two rescue Dobies were, but my current one didn't get that memo. She will bark any time she thinks she has an excuse. As I ran out of ways to let her know that was not acceptable, I read the reviews on this whistle. And it works like a charm! It stops her barking immediately! Without me having to shout over her. As it's the first time I have ever used a dog whistle, I have to get used to just blowing gently into it. This past week I've noticed I blow very hard into it, as I don't hear anything :-) I'm sure my cats hear it too, they do look up, but it doesn't seem to affect them that much. Their ears go up, but not backwards in disgust as they do whenever I sing :-)Very glad I decided to give this a try! Would highly recommend it to anyone!

Good quality. I am not an expert and I wish there would be some usage information coming with this product.

Don't bother buying it. My dog was right next to me and didn't flinch at all.

Not sure how well this works. We hoped our mostly deaf dog might hear it. But so far she doesn't seem to hear it.

I've had several dog whistles previously. The last one worked well until I lost it. This one seems to be ineffective so far. I'll keep at it in case it's "operator error," but I'm not impressed with it so far.

This is the first product that has actually worked on dog. We have spent a small fortune on many - many other products and system with little to no results. THIS WORKED THE VERY FIRST TIME WE TRIED IT! We can already see a change in our dog's continual barking. If he even sees us with it, he stops. Highly recommend just product.

I have two very yappy dogs and that barking drives me plum crazy from time to time.. They are inside dogs so they are basically right up in our ears going full blast when they think someone is here and especially when the UPS man comes which is quiet often.This is a very nice little set and seems to work pretty good. For the most part when they start barking i can blow this whistle and they will hush up or hush up quiet a bit.I was a little surprised though when i blew it and realized it wasn't silent like a few of the others that i have purchased in the past, but i will also add that the others i have has not been very effective either.Pretty cool whistle and is well worth giving it a shot to see if it will help you, it has me and has helped cut back on all of the headaches i was having before.This set includes a nice little dog whistle, lanyard, pet id tag, and instructions that you can download to help you along the way.
